I just went to the old Chutneys location on McClintock and Baseline... It's a new restaurant there now called Bombay House and this place is a million times better than Chutneys! Friendly staff, great food, amazing atmosphere
This is the second time I'm visiting Chutneys and both times I experienced bad service. First time I went at 10:45pm and they said they close at 11pm and last order is at 10:30pm, understandable. Again I went at 10:15pm and they said no dine-in coz they are closing at 10:30pm even when maps showed they close at 11pm. Upon that the restaurant was stinking which showed bad maintenance and low cleanliness. This was really inconvenient, it's good for you guys to fix for one closing time.
If it’s the end of the world, and this is the only restaurant open, I’ll still not go in there, food is trash, the price is high

Food was good no complaints but the lady owner is really rude. Being a business owner I think the owner needs to be respectful towards the customer
I ordered online from this place, and the next day, I came down with food poisoning. I won’t be ordering from here again and will let my friends in Tempe, Scottsdale know not to order either.

Went here otw to the airport and the food was exceptional. Genuinely some of the best Indian food I’ve had in America with an incredibly gracious host.

I ordered the Vijayawada Biryani for delivery, scheduled for 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, by the time I received it and began eating around 2:00 PM, the food had already turned rotten. It seems mine was the first order placed, even before the restaurant officially opened, and I suspect it was sitting out for too long. The quality of the food was disappointing, and it was clear that fresh ingredients were not used. The main focus of any restaurant should be to serve quality, fresh food to its customers, and sadly, this experience did not meet those expectations. I would not recommend ordering from here, especially if you're hoping for fresh, edible food.
I highly not recommend this Indian restaurant!!

The place is mid. Food here carries the whole place. Food is amazing their momo, chicken tandoori. They definitely gotta work on the portions of the chutney they give out but they are also delicious. But the customer service that is provided here is not even worth 1 star. You can tip more 20% and still get nasty service. There is a female employee who checks on you and every thing but other people are just rude and don’t wanna talk to you.

I ordered food and it delivered after 2 hours. And they expect tip for this. The food is okay and you can actually get better Indian food if you drive around Tempe.
Overrated and overpriced.
