I walked here from the DMV and had a beer and a traditional pasty to relax. Bartender recommended a house lager. It was alright. It took about 10 minutes to make and it was hot and fresh. I was able to sip on my beer during the wait. I got an important phone call and it was too loud to talk on the phone so I stepped out. It is quite a small place. The pasty has well cooked tender steak and the potatoes and rutabaga complimented. It was large enough for me to save half for the next day and a quick pop in the oven brought it almost back to it's original flakiness. I'd like to come back again.
The food is outstanding. 👌 Trying to place an order for delivery, not so much. 😒

Very cool place with open bar facing mill Ave , had a cool vibe in there for sure . I've never been to a British restaurant I don't think till this one! The menu was sweet and they had lots of beer to choose from I'm pretty sure I got the cottage pie they had alot of pastys to choose from! and my bartender he helped me choose between the cottage pie and bangers and mash I got one or the other he was very attentive to all the people at the bar it was awesome the bartender even had the same name as me! Lol that was cool he had a great attitude and knew how to keep eye contact and make small talk , the pasty was very filling I was full n good for the whole night I was out! . I would def like to come back to one of the locations and try more off there menus , thnx for the great food and comfy spot! Did not feel overwhelmed at all for how busy mill Ave is the place is dope

Felt like I was in another country. Right off Mill, cute shops around, a dessert place across the street and the staff were so friendly.
There is a bathroom but it is around the corner and you need a key. Some street parking but not excess that I saw

The food here was incredibly delicious. I can’t recommend it enough. My friend and I got two pasties to share which were the Guiness Stew and the Shepherd’s Pie. We also shared an order of Tandoori Wings. The Tandoori Wings was my favorite part of the meal. They were so flavorful and slightly charred on the outside yet still very moist and juicy. I still think about those wings from time to time. The two pasties were also delicious and had a lot of depth in flavor. They come with sauce on the side but honestly, you would not even need it. I cannot wait to come back to Phoenix just for this place.

Great food/pasties, but the availability of some pasties can be more limited since this is a satellite location.
Also note that there is very limited seating, only a couple tables that can fit a group of 4. Mostly ideal for 1-3 people comfortable sitting at a bar

Will not come back. Bartender was extremely rude after announcing no draft beer available. My buddy and I have frequented for 8 years and this location has run so far downhill to the point of being rude to long standing patrons. The chiller on draft was never good here but now it doesn’t work and apparently it’s my problem.
