Came here for a sports team and families dinner upon a local’s recommendation for a place that could service large party well. They have lots of rooms/spaces that can accommodate different sized groups. We were 34 in our party. Some food items were better than others, but everything was serviceable to great. Service was great too, and their point of sales system allows you to scan a QR code on the receipt and split a check yourself and pay for your family’s items. I had never seen that before and it is extremely helpful when dining with a large group of multiple families. They have a great game area with complimentary shuffle board, ping pong, and corn hole. If you are in a large group, I definitely recommend this place and would come back in a heart beat.

Super disappointed with Culinary Dropout. This WAS my favorite place to eat a delicious meal. The hamburger was significantly smaller and dry. When I asked for an extra ketchup, the server rolled her eyes. Looking for my new favorite spot.
Thank you for your response. I’m going to give your restaurant another try!!!! See you soon

This is a huge open restaurant. Live entertainment that was so loud, we couldn't hear the waitress and we couldn't carry on a conversation without yelling. While the entertainer took a break, the overhead music was just as loud. It ruined what would have been a wonderful dining experience.

You have to pay to park, then you find out there’s a 45+ minute wait for a table. Bar is maxed out with people trying to circumvent the wait, so not ideal for single diners. Service is extreme fast, and the food is good, not necessarily great. Cocktails on the other hand were great, they clearly have some bartenders who know their stuff. Pretty good as far as national chain restaurants go. This one is fun in that it’s mostly open-air but 100% covered so you can enjoy the weather, and outdoor games to the side of the restaurant space.
I’d go again, just maybe during an off-peak time, even on a Tuesday night.

Good food, good service (thanks Scout). We were there for an early lunch so the place was quiet. Ambiance is light and airy (at least where we sat).

Great place for a good lunch or an after work wind down. Food is good, service is great, bright, clean, and just the right balance of crowd and noise level for anything from casual fun to business.

Food service was okay, a bit on the slower side and they ran out of items on the menu.

We were meeting our friend there yesterday and got there early so we had a drink at the bar Dillon was the bartender, he was very friendly and made a great old fashion. When our friends arrived we were seated and Anna (?) or Ann was our waitress, she was also friendly, and the service was excellent. Our food was very good , I had the ribs my husband the meatloaf. One of the best things about it was it was great for lunch today too. Culinary Dropout continues to be one of our favorites …… thank you

We ended up leaving. We were a party of two, there were a lot of available seats. They told us to wait a few minutes to be seated, then proceeded to ignore us for nearly a half hour and did not provide and estimated wait time.

When I made the reservation, I had requested a table in the main dining room, rather than outside, because my wife does not like the cold. When we arrived, the hostess took us to a table outside. We were told that an inside table was not available. They did provide a heater near our table but we were still cold. The food was good (we had ribs, ribeye dip, rigatoni and the steak bites), however, I did have the clam chowder, which oddly had a smoke flavor that was not my favorite. We have been coming to Culinary Dropout for years, and I have always found the food to be an exceptional value; however, I was a little disappointed on this visit. It just didn't seem up to their usual standards. Maybe we just picked a bad night.
We tried Culinary Dropout as we were visiting our son at ASU. So glad we went. The waiter was outstanding and the food was excellent. We all tried to figure out who ordered the best dish. The pretzel appetizer was wonderful. I think the meat loaf was my favorite but he fried chicken and Mongolian short ribs were also excellent. Highly recommend.
CD steak frites a favorite. Good attentive service. Steak ordered medium. What I got was seared dark red interior. Tasty but chewy. Excellent frites and Rucola salad. Piped in noise suitable for late night sports bar crowd, not 5:30-6:30 mature dinner crowd. Couldn't wait to eat and get out.
