Very cute and quaint coffee shop. It is on a campus so can get very busy with limited seating. Overalls we enjoyed our drinks.

Favorite cafe in tempe, or maybe the entire phx metro. Maybe in the world? Idk, I'll have to travel more. Amazing drinks, business practices, atmosphere, and the employees are super cool.

This spot is underrated, great spot for a Kindle and Coffee Sunday!!!
This was our first time here. Came on a Sunday morning to enjoy a couple of coffees and ended up having breakfast and coffee dining in, instead of to-go because the atmosphere was so relaxing. Ordered a cappuccino and a Bananita (iced coffee /banana iced latte yumminess) and a chorizo and egg breakfast bagel and chorizo and egg quesadilla. Let me say, I don't know what the aioli sauce was, but it was AMAZING and so much flavor. We grabbed a couple of chulula packets and didn't even use them. This will now be our new coffee retreat place. Don't skip trying them.
We’ve been to Cafetal several times before church, usually around 12:30 p.m., and have always been able to order food before they close at 1. Today (June 22nd) we walked in at 12:38, and the person at the register immediately told us the kitchen was closed, with no apology or explanation. When I asked what time last call is for the future, she just said, “Right now,” in a rude tone.
We’ve always had good experiences here, so this was disappointing. It would be helpful if they posted clear last call times to avoid confusion.
