Dennys is not what it used to be; my server was more worried about her personal life, she spent more time on the phone, and outside, and her partner got better service and im sure better food than I did. I was the only one seated at the counter. My only request was to cook my grilled cheese sandwich longer so the cheese gets melty. Sadly, I had to send it back. I am over this location. I will not be back.

Gloria at the Denny’s on Rural & the 60 in Tempe is an incredible asset to the team. She’s been here 6–7 years and it shows in her service—efficient, attentive, and professional. She’s cross-trained in multiple roles, from front-of-house to back, and handles it all with a calm, steady energy.
I told her today that she’s a natural leader, even if she doesn’t fully see it yet. Her manager wants her to step into a leadership role, and I hope she does—because Denny’s needs more Glorias. Short in height, but big in heart and hustle. 💪🏽
This Denny's has a great staff. Most of the others in our area fail but this one does a great job. I've had both dinner and breakfast here and was happy with the service and food quality.
