This gem is located inside of a larger herbal apothecary … good vibes and great products all around. Leslie is super loving to her customers and prepares all food with love and light. Health conscious meals that cater to vegan etc. Cheesy Mac is off da chain! And the pesto … amazing! They even do events like coloring parties. If you want food prepared with love in a surrounding environment that could elevate your whole life this is the spot for you.

Such a tasty spot! They have a rotating vegan menu with delicious options. Their new location is spacious and has free parking and they're paired with a great tea and herb shop too! The owner really cares about visitors and I've been a happy customer for over a decade! I wish I could eat at DRK every day!

Ordered the smorgasbord to try everything. I enjoyed the Mac and potato’s since it had the most flavor. It was a 25$ dish, plus added a wrap.
Most items were a little bland especially for the price and everything is a cold dish.
Trying to support local but I recommend uprooted kitchen for a healthy vegan option instead.
They do serve a different menu daily which is awesome!

I am always daydreaming about the perfect vegan cafe and I finally found it!
super friendly owner, quaint, beautiful outdoor seating, great prices, super healthy vegan food with lots of glutenfree options, and lots of actual fresh VEGGIE dishes (sometimes this is actually rare in vegan places), great flavors, high vibes, the most amazing chocolate parfait that had us swooning with yum bliss after. I had a variety of dishes and did not even feel like I needed a digestive enzyme after. it was THAT healthy and made with love. (similar to Morning Glory Cafe in Flagstaff in that way) it made me so happy and I plan to return whenever I head that way again.

The outdoor seating area is great. They’re only open during the week, during my normal working hours. Makes it tough to support them. I was finally able to give them a try. The food looked great. I didn’t really understand how it worked, so I just ordered a smorgasbord (little of everything). The food was good overall, but everything was served chilled when a lot of it seemed like it would taste better heated. It also took quite awhile to get my food, with just one couple ahead of me.

My grandtr passed this place the other day & remembered it from 6 yrs ago! The owner was a customer of mine when I worked at the CVS on Mill and always told me to stop in. Unfortunately, the place had closed due to covid, and I no longer worked at CVS. But prior to that I had taken my grandtr down Mill St in 2018 or 2019 when she was only 5 or 6yr old. It was 100° plus outside, and she hadn't eaten. We stopped here wanting water only. But the staff saw she looked sluggish and they ended up giving my grandtr some food and a drink! Free! She absolutely loved it and always wondered what happened. So when she saw it was open while she was on Christmas break she was soooo excited and wants to go back. I told her we would when she is off school during the week as the restaurant only open weekdays for lunch. She is excited and I just wanted to share this information.
Stopped in on last opening day before Christmas just an hour before close.
Service was so cherry & welcoming, even though it wasn’t quick, the friendliness by Leslie and her mate were top notch, leaving a feeling of patient serenity. This is not always the case at vegan restaurants, so often our presence is not even acknowledged as we wait to order, but they had customer service dialed up!
Ordered the smorgasbord- and my fav off the plate was the Mac and cheeze, a must have when you visit. So happy to have found this little gem on Tempe. It’s back off the Main Street …look for her signs to guide you in.
