Such a hidden gem! Great food, amazing service from a genuine family-run restaurant where you can tell they take care to make sure you love your food and your experience. Highly recommend! We had the spicy edamame and have tried a bunch of different rolls, and they are all delicious. The Poki Roll is incredibleš¤¤ I will say though, the wasabi is a little weird and doesnāt give you that ābiteā.

Absolutely Wonderful! My family and I visited Dozo while we were in town, and we were so impressed! The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and every dish we tried was amazing.
The dumplings were flavorful, the meat skewers were tender and perfectly seasoned, the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious, and the tempura was light, crisp, and truly over the top!
I always order a side of white rice, and theirs was honestly some of the best Iāve ever hadāsimple but so satisfying.
Dozo is the kind of place you remember. If weāre ever back in the area, we will absolutely make it a point to come back. Thank you to the wonderful team for such a great dining experience!

100% AUTHENTIC. I used to live in Osaka, and everything on the menu here is exactly what I would find at an izakaya in Japan. Takoyaki - Ika Geso - Korroke - Negima - Hatsu - Tsukune... the list goes on. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is great. Wish they had one where I live!
I had relatively authentic Japanese curry rice here. As a japanese person, I'm glad that this type of restaurant is here in Greater Phoenix area.

June is so nice! We like to check out new places and drove from North Peoria to come here. We were not disappointed! The spicy miso ramen, Tori Roll, Philly Roll, And Vegas roll were all delicious. The meat has a smoky flavor, taste freshly grilled. We will definitely be back.
