Delighted to be attending the soft opening of Drink Me Tea Rooms Tea & Treats to go. I have long been a fan of the tea room and am now excited I can get my beloved macaroons for home. We got almond, earl gray, and matcha macaroons today. I got an iced earl gray cream tea with oat milk. It is delightful, slightly sweet and creamy. Husband got a Mediterranean blue iced tea which has a slight taste of licorice; he said it is yummy. Hooray for to go tea and snacks! They have cold brew coffee as well. I will try that next time.

My daughter and I wanted to share a special day together. We saw a post and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The decor was delightful. So many charming details. We loved the tea selection and how it was served. The tasty treats were just that tasty. We really enjoyed our time and can’t wait to go again.Vegetarian options: There were many

Very disappointing. I had the literary tea. My friend had the full tea. Was hoping there were pretty tea cups and teapots. Was just plain black ceramic tea cup. Don’t know why it took 30 minutes to bring the tea out. Not sure if they brew the tea in the back. Normally we would have the tea leaves or bags in the pot so you can add more hot water. This was not an option and they would charge additional $10 for extra tea.Everything was very dry which I have noticed at gluten free places. Only one sandwich with very dry bread. The small cucumber crisp was the best in the selection.Tea without scones? But as it was Irish theme I guess the soda bread was the replacement? This was good. The sweets, the chocolate mint tart was good. Didn’t like anything else. The full tea had more options. The shepherds pie pastry I was told was good. There is a much better tea place in Carefree but it is far. Was hoping this place would be similar. Did not realize the whole menu would be gluten free. I have been t9 another gluten free place in another city and I had similar experience with dry food.We had to cancel one reservation and they said the deposit would go towards the total bill. They forgot and I almost forgot. Had to come back and remind them. Gratuity was automatically calculated at 20%. I think gratuity should be left for the customer t9 decide. I don’t think service would have deserved that much.

Cannot find anything positive to say about our experience or this establishment. Drove an hour across town to try based on advertising a kid, friendly place. So let's start there, I believe the only reason why they say they are kid friendly is because they offer lemonade. None of the foods or experience was tailored to be appropriate to children in anyway. Now let's go back over our entire experience. When we showed up, they were not busy at all and maybe had one or two tables occupied. We walked in and waited upfront, and another family walked in behind us. A individual walked up and walked straight past us to the family behind us to check them in and take them to their table. Looked around. There were three or four other girls standing there doing nothing but no one came over to check us in. We stood up front for about five minutes before anyone could be bothered to come over and check us in to see us. We had already pre-ordered the most expensive package and paid part of that upfront. So when we were seated, eventually, someone came and took our drink order and explained to us that we would have two hours, at one hour they would come over and let us know we had one hour, at 30 minutes they would come over and bring us our to go boxes and cups and anything else we may need before we exit. Even pre-ordering our food we were 50 minutes before being served the food. The tea was average, the food was not tasteful at all. None of the three of us enjoyed anything that was served and we tried the entire menu as far as food goes. We passed the one hour mark no one had been by to let us know we had an hour or check on us in anyway the entire first hour. we flagged our server down and let them know that we would like to go cups as we were finished. Sat there for 20 minutes and she never came back or brought cups. I got up found one of the other girls that had stopped by our table at the beginning and let her know we needed some to go cubs because we were finished. She had an attitude about being requested them Checked on several other tables before bringing us over 2 cups when we were a party of three. Ran off too quick for me to say that so I had to flag her down again and let her know we needed one more cup as well as our check please at this point we had maybe 15 minutes left on our two hour teatime and again, no one had actively been by to check on us in anyway, we were seeking out people. She brought the 3rd cup, dropped it off and again ran off before she could be asked anything else. Eventually, our server came by we let her know that we would need the check. She said OK left and checked on other tables eventually bringing us back our check. This establishment auto charges 20% gratuity, which is absolutely absurd when no one in the restaurant knows anything about serving adequate, checking on tables, giving people a good experience and has an attitude when you seek them out to try to get finished up so that you can leave.

I wanted to love this place..but sadly I did not. This was my 5th high tea experience, the first was before I was even vegetarian. The other 3 experiences were in establishments that offered vegan options. I found Drink Me Tea Room on my last trip to AZ. It's within walking distance from my ex in-law's house. I saw that reservations are required, so did not make it over during that trip. Well when I knew that I would be heading back to AZ, I asked if my ex mother-in-law would like to go, my treat. She had never had a high tea experience. I was excited for her to try it out, and I didn't mention that it was vegan. I was really hoping for the food to be epic. I've been to places where the vegan options were delicious, and thought since this place was 100% vegan, that they would have some great creations. Maybe there could have been something I could have done to ensure that we would have enjoyed the food more. They brought out a book that included menus of the tea selection, cocktails and mocktails and food selections. Not sure if the foods not included in the standard offering was at an additional cost. I forgot to bring my reading glasses. I decided to trust what was the standard offering of food. We chose our tea, and we both received our individual pots of tea. And I will say that the teas were delicious. They didn't offer cream, but I asked if they had any, and there were several selections, I chose soy. There was a glass container with colorful sugar cubes. The bottom plate had the savory bites. There was a crostini with chickpea salad. Not very interesting..I make chickpea salad at home a couple times a month. There was a small container of diced cucumbers, diced croutons (?) balsamic dressing, cucumber cut in flower shapes with something on top, they were cute, but not flavorful. There were scones, no clotted cream or jams. There was a little bit of a sweet cream on middle plate, but didn't think to put on scone. The little chocolate cake with playing card was delicious as was the little pie or tart. I didn't care for the mushroom macaroons. The cookie with Eat Me on top were good while sipping tea. The ratio of sweets to savory was unbalanced with more sweets. This place was expensive. I paid $40 deposit and $67.60 at the end of our underwhelming experience. I believe that's typical of a high tea experience, but I don't think I got my money's worth.

This place is so cute!! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were really happy with everything we tried. It’s amazing that everything they make is gluten free and vegan, while still tasting delicious! We’ll for sure be back again.

Such a cute tea room! Loved the decor and all the little unique touches. I wasn’t sure how the all Vegan/ Gluten free food would taste, but everything was so delicious, beautifully arranged and fun! What a great experience!

My daughter and I went a couple days ago and had a good experience overall. The food was good and the staff were kind. However, when you sign up online you get to pick your choices and they make it seem really clean cut. You pay $56/ person and you pay a deposit before you come in. We didn't buy anything extra besides two $10 bags of tea. So I'm thinking after my deposit of $40 I'm gonna be paying about $90-$100 + a tip. I ended up paying almost $200 by the end of it. They did add gratuity themselves of $25 which I thought was weird because there was only two of us and they came to the table 2-3 times for their speel and that was it. I don't know, $200 for an hour just seems like an incredible amount of money to me. I usually don't mind spending a lot for an immersive experience but aside from the decor, it wasn't anything special. I know that it's an experience but for that much I'd expect the staff to dress up or even a little more food. I'm not sure. Maybe a little takeaway trinket or something. It was a good time but maybe worth $100..... maybe. The tea was very good though.

I am a fan of afternoon tea so I knew I had to try Drink Me Tea Room out! I went with the kiddo and my friend who is a fan of Alice in Wonderland and we went down the rabbit hole to try some vegan delights with a pot of loose leaf. The interior is so adorable, with all the unique little Alice in Wonderland art and decor. Your check is even presented in an Alice in Wonderland themed book! Off we went down the rabbit hole! My friend and I had the full tea and the little one had the literary tea, which is a smaller selection of goodies. For those that don't want tea they also offer mocktails and cocktails. I chose my tea mainly because it had color changing properties. It was a vanilla green tea with blue pea powder. I could definitely taste the vanilla flavor and you squeeze some slices of lemon to make it change color. While I really enjoyed seeing the change in colors when adding the acid, with the amount of lemon juice I needed to add to change the color of the tea my cups ended up tasting more like hot lemon water with a hint of vanilla rather than tea leaves. The kiddo had an herbal tea which got a thumbs up from her. The selection of sweets and sandwiches is varied and while I appreciated that they were vegan, some were more well executed than others. Some of the sandwiches were a little too salty for my tastes and the tart, while delicious, had a super runny jam filling so it was hard to eat it without fruit goo running down your hands. Service was great and we were checked up on as needed. Overall this is a great option for afternoon tea. I'd definitely come here again.
