Well...I did not eat here. But, I did go inside the store and talked to one of the staff to get permission to park my car there for a few hours. They were exceptionally cordial and friendly.
I was going to combine my daily walk with visiting the sporting good store in Chandler; and just didn't want to do the full 10 mile walk in the 110 degrees. So, I drove from my hotel and parked at the El Pollo Loco to shorten it to 6 miles.
On my next work trip to Phoenix, I will definitely stop in to dine!

The food here is very fresh and you can actually watch them cook the food in front of you. The chicken is grilled to perfection and the vegetables are fresh and delicious. The chips are rather small in portion size but the guacamole tastes really good. I ordered the double chicken avocado salad and the price has gone up but inflation is everywhere unfortunately. I strongly recommend eating here if you want a fresh, delicious and healthy alternative.

The chicken nachos were the worst nachos I’ve ever had. They were stale and soggy. The churros were good.
Every time I ho to this location, the staff is not friendly and make you feel rushed, the food is always missing something (my tostada salad has a half scoop of chicken, that's hard and missing guacamole, a lettuce is brown). I will not try anymore and just go to the one on McClintock and baseline.
