This was literally the worst dining experience my husband and I have ever had in our entire lives. If you enjoy paying $100 for a meal for 2 that you actually have to cook yourself, you might like this place. We were not aware, nor told we’d have to cook it ourselves. My husband actually ate a raw piece of Bulgogi before we figured it out. We were unable to tell when the chicken was properly cooked, so we ended up not eating any of it. The meat quality was very poor. I could actually see large diameter, and rather long blood vessels still attached to some of the pieces of beef in the bulgogi. Yuck!!! Also, it was cold outside and we thought we’d get warm once we got inside the restaurant . . . Wrong, freezing cold inside. The waiter was kind enough to ask them to warm it up inside, but despite that and despite the grill being on at the table, we shivered through much of the meal, which we ate very little of. My husband lived in Korea for a while and used to love Korean food. This experience unfortunately has turned him off to Korean food permanently.

Fabian, the manager on duty, made my night exception. My wife and I visited for the first time this evening and Fabian made taught us how to grill the protein and suggested excellent suggestions. We will be back to visit this location.

This place needs new management and probably a completely new staff. If you've had Korean BBQ in Korea, you'll know that Korean service is excellent with your server being incredibly attentive. It seemed like the place was managed and ran by children to be honest. I walked out of the place before getting any food I was so disappointed

The prime wagyu menu is not worth it. The meat quality is subpart and it's not actual A5 it is American wagyu which doesn't really mean anything. They also limit you to ordering 4 items at a time and then don't come back until 20+ minutes to take your next order of 4 items. We waited several times hoping for someone would come by to take our order so we could eat more. But all the staff was avoiding making eye contact with us so we would wait with no food.

This place is actually really cool it has a lot of potential. The person I think who is the manager is a little off... and the waiters and waitresses launch very explanatory about how the menu works also practically no sauces for any of the meats. So this kind of place is just really cool for the experience not necessarily for the food quality.

Had lunch today. The lunch meat wasn’t very good. Had samgypsal, bulgogi, Galbi, garlic chicken, shrimp, and a spicy pork. The marinades didn’t carry the meat in a direction that was helpful. It seemed either low quality meat, or maybe left overs. Shrimps had a waxy soft muddy taste. All the meat seemed not flavorful.

The Banchan, specifically the kimchis were fermented yes, but no salt taste and therefore no flavor. You can tell a lot about a Korean restaurant based on the banchan served. Today, it matched the lunch.

Haven’t had a kbbq experience like this before.

Our server however did an excellent job, we were very grateful.

Brandon (server) and Anthony (bartender) really took care of us tonight. Outstanding service. The food was bomb. I don't understand all the negative reviews because our entire group of 10 has an amazing time!

I was a bit disappointed overall. The japchae was bland, and there weren’t many side options, which is usually my favorite part of Korean BBQ. The meat was cut very thick, and the bulgogi had a strange texture, it slumped together and almost had a ground beef-like consistency. We were also told we only had an hour and a half to eat, despite the website stating a 2-hour limit.

That said, the overall flavor of the meat was good, and the service was great our server was attentive and friendly.

Service is good along with the atmosphere. The food is downright the worst KBBQ I’ve had here in the Valley. It sucks cause Gen used to be one of the better spots out here. The menu changed and the quality of the food changed with it.

This is one of those places where you want to like it, because the food is amazing, but the service is so awful that you’re hesitant about going back.

If you have a big party of eight people or more, there’s only two places in the entire restaurant where you can sit together. That wasn’t the issue. It was just the front of the house small things. Repeated errors that are normally taken care of at any other place.

Example, we had to ask for menus as as this was the first time for us going. Then once we ordered the drink, it took 30 minutes to get cold saki and a Kirin. Then another 15 minutes before the server asked us what food he can bring us. The server also didn’t bring utensils, and didn’t bring a glass to drink the sake and kirin out of. Again we had to ask for that.

The food is extremely good. Hats off to the chef in the back of the house. I’m not sure who’s running the front of the house or if there’s a manager, but it needs serious work.

Really nice vibe and my family thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant seemed pretty short staffed but Glen did an excellent job at making sure we had everything we needed. Will probably be back in the future!
