I ordered the esquite appetizer, potato tacos and lavender lemonade. The bartenders first off were amazing and saved the experience. Esquite was covered in a melted cheese instead of cotija. Not my fav and wouldn’t order again. I ended up peeling back the cheese and eating everything under. It also gave a faint taste of metal, not sure if it was the cast iron it was served in or if they are using metal brush to clean. But metal esquite is not what i was looking for. The potato...
Had high hopes from other reviews and recommendations, but was disappointed: empty tables during a long wait, food before silverware, long time to get drinks, quality and flavor of food being ok and not hot, very little attention to service, etc. The menu, however, remains unique and interesting and full of promise. Perhaps, it was an off night, or popularity has replaced quality and excellence with quantity.
