Smallest portions on the planet and very pricey for what you get. Wife had small tacos too spicy to eat. Never again!

Went on Valentines day, made a prior reservation. The environment was romantic & so pretty. Loved both indoor & outdoor scenery. It was a wait on food, an hour before we were served. But it was a holiday, the service was great, they comped some things & apologized for the wait. Everything was fresh & so healthy but delicious. Food was worth the wait. It was so mouth watering & to perfection! Everything from chips & guac to the dinner & the special valentines dessert! So tasty & also served so pretty. Definitely recommend & will be on our list to return!

We went for our Valentine's Day date. We ordered a cochinita pibil torta, two shrimp tacos, and one carne asada taco. I asked for the salsa on the side because I like it very mild. Shortly after the order was taken away, they came back and told us that my three tacos had to be the same because it had to be part of the dinner menu since it started at 4:00 PM and it was already 4:03. I agreed to order all shrimp tacos. When the food arrived, my tacos had the salsa included, which was too spicy for me (even though we asked for it separately). My husband was brought a breaded chicken torta, which the menu said was milanesa, which is clearly not cochinita pibil and wasn't what we ordered. We told the waitress, and she said it was fine. They changed my tacos, without any salsa. When we told the waitress that they hadn't put the salsa on the side, they said they didn't put the salsa on the side, it was all or nothing. And my husband didn't get the torta. They only brought us cochinita (slow-cooked pork)!!! Which is a completely different dish, and that's not even mentioning that we ordered the chicken taco from the kids' menu for my baby, and they brought us two adobo tacos that had nothing to do with grilled chicken. The waitress even told us the taco had cheese and onion, but it was just a chicken taco in adobo sauce, which we couldn't give to my baby. When they brought the bill, they didn't show us the itemized bill; they just gave us the total and brought the card reader, something that has NEVER HAPPENED TO US BEFORE! The atmosphere is very nice, the place is cute, the food is just okay. In the end, they didn't bring us what we ordered; they substituted whatever they wanted and charged us more for food we didn't order. We wanted to try something new, and what a disappointment! If you have the chance, skip this place!
The place smells amazing when you walk in! The wood fire grill lights up your taste buds but the taste of the food and the portions will leave you very unsatisfied.
We ordered the smoked tuna quesadilla, pork belly taco, street corn, hamburger, fries and chicken ‘tulips’. This place should be considered a Tapas restaurant because the portions are minimal - as well as the food. I’m not sure where they get their chicken but I’ve never seen a wing or drummy that small! One bite chicken thing on a bone.
The smoked tuna was nonexistent… there appeared to be some sort of meat but couldn’t taste anything in the 1 bite that was served. The pork belly was very overcooked, dry and tasted like leftovers. Hard and almost unable to chew with absolutely no smoke flavor at all.
The hamburger was overcooked, dry and flavorless. Fries were good but very greasy. The street corn didn’t have much flavor either.
Save your money, have another drink but eat somewhere else!

An unexpected delight followed by a VERY underwhelming experience.
My friend and I wanted to check out the “Farmers Market”.
I had been to Rolling Hills for the driving range many times but hadn’t been back in awhile. The improvements were a welcome change. We noticed upon walking in the improvements at the restaurant and outside bar.
First we hit the market. Scattered outside a nice grassy field were maybe 12 or 15 vendors in tents. Some cool stuff but I didn’t see anything from the farm. No fruits, vegetables…nada. We got some gifts and snacks (great salsa 😉)
After we approached the outside bar for lunch and a cocktail. It was full but not crazy. The NFL playoff game was on.
We were greeted and got our drinks straightaway, ordered food, then …🛩️💥💥💥
By the time we finished our drinks (about 30 minutes) our $7 shrimp street tacos arrived. We asked about our remaining order, we’re told it’d be there in a few minutes. (Tacos were good. 2 bites worth)
Shortly after that, what looked to be a manager approached and was telling the main bartender no more food. Bartender explained he still was waiting on 3 or more orders.
We waited.
Drinks empty, I asked if we could have our food boxed up as we had other plans and were burning daylight waiting. He said I’m sure we can have it boxed for us.
We waited.
Another 10 minutes a girl comes and asks if we’d like another round. My friend lost her patience and asked AGAIN about our food order.
This is when the bartender returns to tell us, that the kitchen said the food was delivered to us. He knew that wasn’t accurate and took the remaining, unserved items off of our bill.
Gee, thanks.
I will say that this appears to be a staffing issue. Lots of FOH staff, but my friend saw into their open kitchen that there were only three people in the kitchen.
Food was going out, it was steady but there’s no way it should be this chaotic.
Food was good. Someone needs to tighten up the service, and the coordination between FOH & BOH.

Food had excellent flavor, however, the minute we walked in the door at 1:30 PM. We were told that they would be closing at 4 o’clock for a heads up. They took our order, never came back to the table. We had lots of options but chose this place for your party last and your Customer first!

This gem of a restaurant is nestled in a park-like setting next to a golf range. We drove across the valley for 45 minutes to see what Glenrosa was about and boy, I'm glad we did!! The food was delicious, inspiring, tasty and not like your typical Mexican chain establishment. I highly encourage all to check it out!! PS: Our server, Amber, was remarkable, professional, personable and when asked to recommend a dish or two, she knew what we should order and she was right!!

The music took away from what could have been a 5 star experience. No one at our table appreciated the depressing cover music. Simply change the music! Otherwise amazing.
