Great location, food, beers and outstanding service. Every time I visit Phoenix, I try to stay in the Tempe downtown area because the fun bars and restaurants. Gordon's is a definite stop when I visit. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. It is a pretty large location --- so while busy, you still don't feel crammed in there. During our last visit, our server Jenna did a great job at explaining all the new beers and menu items. TIP: This place tends to get pretty busy at night. Give yourself enough time if you are coming for dinner (and visit the bar while you wait) or grab lunch there.

This is a fancy place. If you are not aware Gordon Biersch is a beer that you can buy in the stores. This place is an upscale joint where you have to scale a stair case or elevator to get in. It is a bit on the pricey side. There is plenty of room to accommodate large crowds in here.

Just dined at the GB in Tempe, AZ. We have been to GB twice in DC and really enjoyed it, so while in Tempe last week we ended up going to this location. It's a fun location and building near the ASU campus in the Tempe Marketplace area. Food and service are consistently good here. Cameron, our server, was great and it was only her 2nd day working there. She made great suggestions. Their known for their signature garlic fries; which they are, well, garlicky! Delicious. The "Shrimp and Mango" tacos, and "Spicy Little Chicken" tacos were great. Menu is huge! GREAT beer selection obviously. They have their own as well as the national brands. Prices are what you'd expect.

Food was just really bad. Pretzel tasted totally off, sausage was burnt to a crisp. Everything else we ate was subpar. Service was just adequate.

This place has really tanked. Stopped by with some friends to celebrate their retirement and we get a server that was not very happy to be working that day. Chicken sandwich and chicken Breast dinner served unusually small portions that were over cooked and dry. Caesar salad with no flavor. Ahí tuna with very little actual tuna. Last time for me. Don't be disappointed, find somewhere else to eat.

Came here 13 years ago and was disappointed. Came back the other day, even worse experience. Although the restaurant was empty on a Wednesday afternoon, service was a disaster. Seated at 1:04pm, order taken at 1:16pm, food came out at 1:58pm. Food may have been ready earlier, seeing as it was only slightly warm by the time it was served. I asked for medium well, hold the lettuce, I got well done and dry with extra lettuce. BBQ sauce was non-existent. Water glass was empty for 20 minutes before being refilled. Only plus, nice view of downtown Tempe. Suggestion: come for the view, but bring your own lunch.

We tried this restaurant and were surprised at the diversity of the menu. The venue is a historic building and we sat outside on the 2nd floor which was a nice panoramic view of the hustle and bussel of activity below. It is pricey so we tried a bunch of the appetizers instead of getting large entree. We had the chicken bites, nachos, ahi tuna stack with mango, the shredded pork egg rolls. All of it was delicious the shredded pork egg rolls were unique and so was the ahi tuna stack. I would recommend this restaurant but make sure you are ready to pay for the goodness!

Sat at 6pm it was fairly busy, we had a 10 top with 5 adults and 5 kids. Sat in the bar which was fine. However we were right next to the restrooms and bussing station.
