It's a strip-mall Ramen joint filled with One Piece posters, so make sure your expectations are clear there.That being said: the broth was both rich and balanced. We had both the Tonkatsu and Miso bowls. The seasoned eggs were the best we'd ever had in a Ramen spot. The service was friendly and easygoing. We went a little late on a Tuesday so it wasn't very busy but everyone who worked there still remained attentive and helpful despite the slow business at the time.Great experience and one of our preferred spots for Ramen in the East Valley!
Not only was service fantastic but the food was quite delicious. You get to find yourself in a nice quiet place to eat with friendly staff. The food comes out timely and the kitchen is open some so you can see your food being cooked. If you are visiting I recommend coming here to grab some authentic ramen and relax!

The food left a lot to be desired. We was very underwhelmed as ramen connoisseurs. I as picking up my phone repair in the area and we decided to stop by. I had the Karrage combo and the chicken was pink and the taste was off. Exchanged it for gyoza which was fair at best. The spicy miso ramen broth was very underwhelming to say the least. I'm literally still sitting here regretting coming here. Definitely will my be back. The food is terrible. I've never had bag ramen in all my 37 yrs until this place.

Food is amazing. Extremely fresh and always very hot! Homemade everyday. Lots of options for different broth or meat/veggies. They always greet you right as you walk in and find you a place to be seated. The workers are always very nice and fast! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, I will say the music/tv in here is sometimes a bit loud but other than that, best ramen I’ve had in AZ.

I love Ramen. I have tried several here in the area and other cities as well. I will say that for me, Hachi has the tastiest broth. However, I do wish there was an option to add a protein rather than be stuck with only pork belly (chashu). Service is excellent, staff is always very friendly and attentive. It doesn't take long for them to acknowledge you and bring out your meal and drinks. Atmosphere is very relaxed and quaint. I don't think I've ever encountered this place too busy but it's busy enough for regulars to frequent it. If you're in the mood for Ramen, give this place a try!

We decided to try Hachi today for the first time and we were slightly disappointed. The biggest let down was the soggy gyoza. The bottom had good color, however that was about it. The top of the gyoza was so soggy it fell apart just picking it up with chopsticks. Flavor was ok, nothing to write home about. We tried the tonkotsu ramen which was pretty good. Interestingly, the broth was very fatty and thick to the point it had plenty of bubbles along the rim. The pork flavor is very strong in taste and smell, slightly more salty than I'd like. I find other spots have a more smooth and light broth, like Yutaka and Nishikawa. On another note the service is great and the vibe is nice. It's a great spot for anime fans; especially One Piece. Plenty of anime wall scrolls and anime theme music playing which is pretty cool. Maybe I'll return to try the karaage and miso ramen, but as it stands it's meh.

I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen with gyoza combination. Service was nice and ramen was pretty good but rice wasn’t flesh… I’d love to come back, hopefully they have fresh rice next time:)
