I went on grand opening day right before they sold out and the service was great. The owner and her daughter were so kind and I'll always go back. The food on the other hand....AMAZING!!! Everything on my plate was well seasoned and tasted like something my grandma would make back home. My favorites were the peach cobbler and the Chicago sweet heat wings. I'd recommend that to anyone and this will be a regular spot for me every weekend.

Indulging at Hint of Soul was an absolute delight! From the moment we placed our order to the time we picked up our food, we were treated with warm hospitality. Pulling up to the pick-up location, you can smell the tantalizing aroma of home-cooked goodness. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the smothered chicken melted in your mouth with every bite. The meaty catfish was expertly seasoned and fried to perfection, and the collard greens were a flavorful homage to traditional Southern cuisine. But let's not forget the macaroni and cheese, creamy and rich, and the yams, sweet and savory in all the right ways. Lastly was the peach cobbler, not overly sweet with just the right amount of sauce.Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to authentic soul food flavors. Both the quality AND quantity of the food were A+. If you're craving a taste of comfort and nostalgia, look no further than this hidden gem! Chef Lynn did her thang!!!

Live in West Phoenix drove all the way down there twice to try and eat at their location downtown and when we got there according to MapQuest the building looks very unwelcoming no sign as to where the entrance is it was a parking lot in a building with a gate around it won't be back as it was too far to drive to be told the last time we went that they were out of food

Way more than just a hint of soul! I decided to try Hint of Soul after finding them here on Yelp! On our first visit, we ordered the Chicago Sweet Heat wings, Lemon Pepper wings, Garlic Parm wings, the Kickin' Kajun Chicken Alfredo, Granny's Collards, the 7 Cheese Baked Mac and Cheese, and the Crown Royal Peach Cobbler. EVERYTHING was delicious. I can't wait for them to return(fingers crossed) to online orders.

My friends and I were in Phoenix for a girls weekend and booked chef Lynn for a personal chef experience. I WISH SHE WAS LOCAL TO ME! I would literally book her for everything...even day to day meals. Her cooking is PERFECTION and her great personality makes it even better! Her food is made with love. She was on time, professional, and left the kitchen in better condition than she found it. Thanks again chef Lynn!!

Come on Chef Lynn!!!!!! Yassss!!! The tablescape was done by the chef and team. Exceeded our expectations!!! For the food - Excuse the bacon off the salmon but sliders lol I didn’t take a pic of mine and the person who sent the video doesn’t eat pork? it was delicioussssss omg? I also missed taking a pic of the very berry pecan salad. Whew! The salmon shrimp mash and asparagus was good but the cake stole the entire night! I do not like chocolate cake but That cakeeeeee! Okay!
