Truly an excellent restaurant, and I'll be sad to see it go. Get your reservations in now before the owners retire. Have been several times over several years and I've never had a bad dish. I had the pork shank this time and it was delicious (as were the scallops). If I'm being honest the service was a bit slow tonight and the bar was not on their A game, but I can certainly cut them some slack since it was a Tuesday night and only about a month away from closing....
The ahi tuna is seared to perfection with a blend of Wasabi and what tasted like a coconut curry. The mixed drink was alright was expecting more cinnamon spice but it really hit with the orange zest. The desert though that was a palate pleaser. The chocolate was not super sweet but that peanut butter brittle melts in your mouth just don't chew much otherwise it'll rip out a filling.
We found this gem 10 years ago during spring training and it has become our favorite restaurant. We usually sit at the bar and enjoy the the friendliness and professionalism of the bartenders and servers. The atmosphere is relaxing as most tables are outside under the trees. The food is always excellent. My favorite dish is the mussels served in a tasty chorizo creamy broth with crusty toasted bread for dipping. It doesn't get any better.
