We have always been a big fan of Ikea Swedish meatballs and anytime we are shopping there stopping at the restaurant is a given for us. The restaurant is a great value you can get a Swedish meatball entree for $4.29 which is served with peas and mashed potatoes. The restaurant is cafeteria style serving delicious Swedish inspired dishes, and at that price we decided to take home a couple of entrees to enjoy later.

The swedish restaurant manager on duty on Valentine's Day between 1900 hours to close, said he accidentally voided my food purchase instead of do a partial refund and that I would see a refund since I paid with card.

I decided to check my credit card activity on 2/20 and did not see the supposed "refund". I am very disappointed.

I did not visit the restaurant but the store is amazing and kind of easy to get lost in

Delicious, yum, loved the vegetable meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy with a salad and the chocolate layered something dessert. What a treat! Collect the choice cantina style, load up your tray. Pay at the register, filling your water cup, collect napkins and cutlery. Find your favorite seat and enjoy.

It's always a treat to eat here. Ideal is just before lunch time rush. It's popular and the line moves fast.

The escalator is at the entrance and delivers you to the restaurant. Exiting you need to walk out, down the stairs, left and left again. Or go shopping and get your exercise

Parking: Off the highway, you can't miss it.

The meatballs weren't hot enough. Mashed potatoes were kind of cold. Macaroni and cheese is not what it used to be. Chocolate cake is changed too. All around they've changed so much I don't eat there anymore.

I've eaten at this IKEA restaurant a few times. Sometimes my friend and I come here to eat lunch, and we don't even shop.

I would say I eat a vegetarian diet about 95% of the time. However, I really enjoy IKEA's meaty meatballs.

My friend is 99% vegetarian, so she gets the veggie balls. Well. In September of 2024, when my friend asked the worker for vegetarian meatballs, the worker asked which kind. That's when we realized there are now two vegetarian meatball options!

The original vegetarian meatballs are made from veggies. They are good. I've had them before. But they are not like the meaty meatballs.

The new vegetarian meatballs are made with pea protein. My friend let me try one of them. It was really tasty! Very much like the meaty meatballs. Next time I'll probably get the pea protein balls.

The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. It was not crowded when we had lunch there on a Wednesday afternoon.

Vegetarian options: The IKEA restaurant has not one but two types of vegetarian meatballs. One is made with pea protein and is more traditionally meaty, and the other is a veggie ball.

Parking: There is a LOTof parking here.

Kid-friendliness: IKEA is kid friendly place, and so is the IKEA restaurant. Spring the kiddos from the daycare center and get them some lunch here. There's sure to be an option to make any kid happy.

Swedish meatballs are delicious—tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce. The cake was also fantastic, moist, and not too sweet. However, the mac and cheese was disappointing, and the tomato soup had an overpowering lemony flavor. Overall, a good meal but expensive.

My chicken “tenders” were two bites each. I almost jokingly said “no, not the kids meal” when they handed me the droopy plate with little fries and two chicken nuggets…

There should be a line for people who already paid for their food. We were waiting in line and 2 people cut in front of us at the food counter while waiting for our breakfast. We told the 2 servers and they literally slammed our plates down on the counter. They just ruined our memorial day. Instead of spending money here we decided to leave. Never coming back.
