Usually I have a good experience at this location in Tempe. I ordered the shrimp plate and they were dry af. And the employees were running around pranking each other. They were yelling and just super obnoxious.

Jordan was our server today and it was amazing. The service he gave was absolutely fantastic. He considered all three of us at the table, he gave of the best recommendations, never was an awkward moment, and he gave the funniest jokes. Thank you again to Jordan, definitely will have to come back.

Great experience!! My wife and I came down to see an old friend who was visiting his son and decided to visit Joe's Crab Shack for lunch. Met the most wonderful and beautiful waitress named Chloe. She was a pure delight. Service was impeccable, and she knew the menu inside and out. Made us feel like family.Also met the manager Will, and he was also fun even though he's a Chicago Bears fan lol. Since I'm a Veteran and former law enforcement, they were kind enough to give us a discount. So, if you're ever in the South Phoenix area and want a place not far from the airport to eat, this is one place I'd recommend. Just let them know Marc from Marc's Bachelor's Kitchen sent you. Five stars across the board... Oh, and Chloe needs a raise. LolWheelchair accessibility: Definitely handicap friendly.

OMG! What an amazing experience we had!! We traveled to AZ for my daughter’s cheer competition, which also happens to fall on her birthday, and all she wanted for dinner was crab. We found Joes Crab Shack, they have fantastic customer service, sat our table of 9 immediately & treated us so well! Our server, Brandon went above and beyond to make her day feel extra special! Everything from greeting us with a warm introduction, asking if we were celebrating anything special (it’s like he knew), to the Shirley temples in the fancy glass with the ?, to dancing the cha-cha, the fancy bibs…. This location went above and beyond and we couldn’t be happier with the service and delicious food! The GM, Amy also stopped by to say hello and welcome us, then at the end to thank us for coming in. Overall, I’d give this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. THANK YOU, BRANDON! Dietary restrictions: While everyone in our party had crab / seafood, I stick to chicken and appreciate that they offered chicken options :)Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly- for all kid ages!!

The food quality here is decent, though considering the prices, it might seem a bit overpriced in terms of quality. However, given the restaurant's ambiance and facilities, I feel it's worth the price. The environment is well-designed with a great atmosphere, and the menu offers a wide variety of options, making it perfect for family gatherings. Moreover, they have a children's playground which is great for keeping kids entertained. The quality of fried food is average, but the steamed seafood is excellent. Unfortunately, the oysters tasted a bit off, and lemon was not provided. Additionally, four out of the six oysters had shell fragments inside, which greatly affected the taste, so I wouldn't recommend them. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic, although a bit rushed; they kept urging us to order, asking twice within five minutes of sitting down before we even had a chance to look at the menu, which was a bit frustrating.Kid-friendliness: They have playground for kid
