Reasonable pricing. Had yam fufu and okra. food quality was excellent. Lovely music. You can definitely take significant other here. Good customer service. Would recommend.
I really enjoyed the meal. The waitress was super nice and food portion was great!!
Great tasting food, great customer service and great portions! Clean and the music keeps the atmosphere fun!
Delicious West African cuisine served. Catch all the aroma and mouth watering.
Great experience for an African cuisine newbie!! Recently met a friend from Nigeria and after chatting for a bit decided to look for some authentic Nigerian food. Came across Jollof King which happened to be very conveniently located near my office. I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I opted for the Chicken Balequaise with Jollof Rice and Fried Plantains. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The food was deliciously seasoned, the chicken was juicy and the small portion of stew that they served went nicely with the rice for just the right amount of spice. I will definitely return to try additional dishes!
Great place! Generous portions, delicious food, comfortable restaurant. The plantains were perfect!
Here was a restaurant we never knew existed until I drove by it the other day. My wife and I decided to try it out last night. Good decision. We had the stewed goat and rattaouille with mixed vegetables and fried plantains. The food was very tasty and satisfying, service was prompt, and the place was clean. We will be back.
My hubby and I were were visiting from out of state and looking for African restaurant and this place was the top of the list. We had goat stew and jollof rice and it was great and meat was tender and juicy. Fyi- if you want Poisson la braised ( grilled fish), it will take 45 min so call ahead. Everything is freshly made. Check it out when in Phoenix -Tempe area.
Jollof rice was not fresh..dry/hard. Plantains were decent. Waitress was not friendly. Wouldn't recommend to my African friends :-(
Great West African dishes and vegetarian friendly!

I loved their jollof rice, best African restaurant in the Phoenix valley area.
The FuFu ?wish I had more goat but it was actually perfect and the sauce was great. I love the atmosphere.
awesome people! I went in there starting with almost no money the day before my payday can you still hook me up with a big giant plate!! although really dirty from work he probably thought I was homeless or something however they did not discriminate one bit and we're more than happy to feed somebody :)
Food is really really good! And that is their saving grace... because the customer service is starting to lack. It took me almost an hour to get an order that I was told would take 20 min. I get it was being made fresh and it was delicious but please communicate the real time up front so I can make decisions and plans! Also double check the order. Almost forgot my stew and I would have been upset when I got home. Thank you
Found metal or plastic thing in peanut soup on my second visit. Was eating, and it turned up in my mouth. Advised restaurant via email, and they offered to replace the soup. I told them that I do not want another soup, I want my money back. They have not answered that request, so posting here and filing a dispute on card. I live an hour away and don’t have time to come in and see if I can get a stew with no foreign objects in it. Also, when I came to pick up this order, gentleman had an attitude and said I had just placed the order 5 mins ago when I had placed it 45 mins ago, and it was sitting in the warmer.
