Sashimi was better than the rolls. The rolls had stale hard rice and the fish didn’t seem to taste as great as sashimi pieces. Sushi wise I probably would not come back but service was good. They do understand gluten allergies so that’s nice.
Went with my wife on Jan 18 2026. I had the sunrise toll, the shrimp tempura, two sets of salmon nigiri and a vanilla tempura ice cream. My wife had a pair of salmon noigiri, edamame, and fried rice with chicken. Everything tasted delicious and the lady who served us was very amiable and helpful with her recommendations.
Kabuki in Tempe is always a solid choice. The service really stands out — our server Ashlyn was incredible. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without ever feeling rushed. The food came out fast and tasted great. The shrimp tempura was crisp and light without being greasy, and the beef yakisoba had awesome flavor with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles.
