it's unfortunate that I am compelled to write this because the food is so underwhelming and does not match up with what one would expect from a 4.5 star yelp rating. Everything was just incredibly salty and underwhelming. The mapo tofu was especially egregious. I may have to just throw the entire dish out because it just tastes like mild funky broth + salt and soft tofu. No spice or richness or texture (besides that of porridge - actually porridge has more texture than this).The rice was also noticeably stale and dried out. It was an experience that overall made me wish I just cooked something myself or just went to McDonald's.I can understand how tough it is during these times but also if quality suffers then it's up to the establishment to cut back on hours or up prices or do what they need to in order to keep the quality of the food competitive. Otherwise we just get this - money wasted, expectations bruised, and myself probably not giving this place another chance (as long as we have other options). It really does make me sad to feel like I need to write this but this place needs to step up. What I saw was not 4.5 star levels of service or food quality.

This used to be a great place for me to get take out from but the last two times I ordered from here my orders were wrong. The first time I ordered I spent $20 on delivery through postmates. That's fine, however I ordered noodles & enoki mushrooms and both were missing. The noodles? The base of the soup was missing? Okay I reported it through postmates and they gave me $3 back LOL. I figured alright maybe it's an off night I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since everything that's going on. So I ordered again tonight and items I ordered included potatoes, sausage and rice cake slices. There was no sausage, no potatoes and one rice cake slice. They were replaced with beef? Slices and pork belly? Slices. Both were pink so I was not a fan and the potatoes were completely missing. So I call the restaurant because postmates does not do refunds. I called them 3 times. No answer. I was even prepared to bring the food back since I didn't any once I noticed the pork belly on there. So In total I've spent $30 here on food alone and eaten no food haha. I will not be returning here again. They dodge calls when they know they've messed up? Terrible. I have been making sure to support small businesses because they've been so impacted by the Covid shutting everything down and this is now the only restaurant on my list I will never revisit.

The rice noodle is really good!!! They just accept pick up rn but they clean and disinfect the whole store make me feel safe lol. Always a good choice when you have no idea about what to eat

This restaurant has authentic Chinese food. I really like to choose all meat combo with spicy because of worth every penny. There are fixed meats in the set menu, you can also choose different six kinds of vegetarian dishes. The service is good enough especially during COVID-19. They will use tables to separate customers in order to make the restaurant to be safety. I really recommend this restaurant!

Love their food so much! If you love spicy food, this place is amazing. It’s like the hot pot, you can combine any ingredients that you like together! You can also choose the spicy level, it’s pretty customized. The other food that I have tried are all good! Definitely recommend their boba tea, so craving for it. Their service is super nice. I always see they use disinfecting wipes to clean up all the tables and chairs. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is amazing and they start pick up only earlier than government limited it. They are still pick up for now, this is reason why I like this restaurant so much. The employees make me feel safety and food are delicious like normal.

this restaurant has great safety awareness during the Covid-19. I'm impressed that they r using tables to separate the customer and the waiter to avoid the risk of infection. Everytimes I pick up the order from this restaurant, I feel safety and comfortable.

Warning!! Lady who was taking order kept sneezing several times. I said I was not comfortable with her taking My Order and She called another guy to take order who was totally disinterested in helping. I asked Him if she was sick and they both claimed it was just “allergies,” yet when the guy spoke he apparently was sick also AND it seems everyone working there was sick!? Stay home if your sick!!! We are in the middle of a pandemic! You need to close for covid and Think about others and stop The spread of covid. That is unethical to stay open while you are all sick And putting others in the public at risk because of your greed and selfishness. We left without putting in an order and will Never return! WARN everyone about this place. Thank goodness I was wearing a mask and practiced social distancing!
I order their food through Grubhub and The food was good, but the people that manage the restaurant are extremely rude! First they get our order wrong, then we contact them and person who answered the phone has a horrible attitude, I was in mid sentence cuts me off with an sigh like I’m wasting his time and he hands off the phone to a lady and she tells me that I’m wrong, even though I have the order pulled up on my phone. They have good food but horrible customer service and horrible manners! If you have some doubts about the order call the person who order it, don’t just make assumptions!

The crawfish tasted ok but everything else, smh. I had to give this place a few tries till I decided it's a no. As a Chinese I have high expectation when it's comes to food. But the little skewers are tasteless and I had to always ask for extra extra spicy, and it's never spicy enough. Other dishes were also kind of plain.. they weren't busy the few times I dined there. Every time the servers just stayed behind the counter and chatted loudly themselves. They never cared about us who eat there. I was more and more disappointed at their services. If food is already a minus, and service is another minus, I don't know how you stay in business. Good luck Kood..

Simply delicious! My only wish is that they'd buy reusable glasses for customers. The hotpot is incredible and so flavorful. The spice on the "hot" was the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The service was friendly and the space is really beautifully decorated.

If you are craving spicy food, this place is amazing. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I ordered the take-out option and was not disappointed. I got the chilled cucumber, spicy wontons, and the bobo chicken. It was great comfort food :)
