I've come to this place a couple of times now and they always have great food. The owner is super nice and likeable and his staff are really great as well. Highly recommend this place for some great Chinese noodles. No other place in Arizona compares.

Don't waste your time. They used to have other good food, I specifically like to come here for their pork buns, because their ramen is usually too soft and soggy because of the noodles being freshly hand pulled. But I pay with cash and they no longer take over the phone orders, so you'll have to go in and wait to order. It's just not worth it anymore.

I love how you can change the noodle width. The braised noodle soup is my go-to and the brisket is always so tender. You could inject the broth straight into my veins and I think it would make me a superior human being. Service is typical and very quick. The restaurant in general is quite modest but in my opinion it is part of their allure of authenticity. They're known for their ramen, but their fried rice is the best in Tempe for sure.

Overall a 3.5/5 stars. We've been looking for a hand drawn noodle restaurant replacement ever since our favorite closed down last year. We would have never found this place if it weren't for some word of mouth. As others have stated, don't let the name fool you. It's not a Japanese ramen place! It should be "lamian," which is the Chinese word for noodles. You will only find Chinese staple dishes here (not American Chinese takeout style). The restaurant is super clean and the staff are gentle and kind. I appreciated how one employee helped me package our leftovers :) Portions are HUGE! One dish could easily become 2-3 meals for a single person. I ordered the Chicken Stir-fried Noodles with the default thickness of noodles. The flavor was good, but way too salty for me. Noodle texture was fine. It was also a bit greasy. My partner got the Lanzhou Noodles with thin noodles. I really enjoyed his dish. The seasoning was just right (still a touch too salty for me, but I am more salt sensitive). I kept asking for more spoonfuls of his broth. Something that I don't mind, but my partner does: the dish does mostly come with fattier and collagen heavy pieces of meat. We think Kungfu Ramen excels more with their noodle soups, so we plan on coming back to try their other noodle soup dishes and appetizers. I would not say Kungfu Ramen is a replacement for some of the beloved hand drawn noodle places that have come before it, but it is still solid enough for us to give it another chance.

Got the signature ramen to go... it was ight. Ive had ramen noodles better than this. Just not too much flavor, kinda bland. overall just ok.

Not sure what to write here as a service is really good and the food was just OK. There is too much competition in the Tempe area so hence the three star.

The server was very helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her soup.Kid-friendliness: They let the kids decide and not make them feel unwanted.

Inedible twice and a complete waste of money. Our first order we ordered orange and Gen Tso's chicken for delivery. Both dishes were drowning in sauce that tasted like straight corn syrup, the noodles were stuck together as a large patty under the chicken on one dish, and on the other, the rice was overcooked to mush. On both dishes, breading on the chicken was wet and did not stick to the meat (which in turn, was dry and gross). So that was $50 out the window. Second order, I forgot the name of the place and stopped by for takeout (my bad, but I paid for this mistake). I ordered 2 signature noodle soups, one chicken and one vegetable. The broth was confusing and gross - certainly NOT ramen. Also, incredibly, the chicken was boiled to hell and back. The chicken pieces looked like unseasoned pork rinds. I thought I had tasted all possible textures of chicken but I was wrong; this place showed me there are apparently chicken textures more appalling than my brain can conjure up. As my spouse put it, have they ever eaten food in their lives?? Another $30 wasted on inedible slop, bringing the grand total to at least $80. I was an idiot. Please learn from my story.

Omg, it was seriously the best. I had a shrimp noodle dish that was incredible!! My friend had the beef dumplings and said they were very flavorful. The service was excellent! When I called to make sure they were open for the holiday and when we showed up, they were very welcoming and kind. I can’t wait to go
