I’ve been eating Kyoto Bowl since I was a kid, which is why this experience felt less like a mistake and more like a complete failure of basic service.

I clearly and directly asked if the okayu bowl included teriyaki chicken and was given a confident yes. That answer was wrong. I ordered a more expensive dish specifically because of that claim, explained that choice to my mom, and paid extra for something I never wanted. This wasn’t just any meal either,...

Beautiful restaurant. The decor is a time capsule, it hasn't changed since I used to frequent this place in the 90s, so well kept, and the House Chicken is just as good as I remembered it.
