This Loving Hut, like many others, offers a menu attempting to bridge western and Asian palates, from burgers to stir fries, etc. This particular incarnation skews toward the fast-food paradigm, with counter service, plastic packaging, and a focus on comfort foods. By that standard, it does pretty well, balancing the fried stuff with a number of healthier options like fresh spring rolls, sushi, salads, and brown rice. The three items we tried were all fine. My first time at this particular Loving Hut. Seating area is not large, with about three or four outside tables, and the same amount indoors. Very pleasant though! They have a huge menu, with large portions and very good value. But it's really about the truly excellent flavors! I ate every bit of my order, even though I wasn't that hungry. Delicious! There is no lack of vegan food options in this part of town, but it's always great to see a fully vegan restaurant...

Loving Hut is a chain that I am always happy to see on my travels, I first discovered them in Europe! I got loaded fries because it was new, they resemble poutine and it was delicious. Sushi is good too although I wish it was cut into smaller pieces. I got the green panda cake that was featured, I didnt get a strong matcha flavor (might not even be matcha to be fair) but I definitely knew it was coconut frosting! Yum! #Veganuary
