I was on vacation from Chicago and thought I'll give it a try. The skin on the chicken was extremely hard. I only could eat the inside. The ribs wasn't tasty at all. I didn't like the idea of sugar on the biscuits.

Dined in for dinner on 4/27. We were a party of 7 so had made a reservation. I was very surprised how empty it was when we arrived early. We were sat and greeted. From here it all went downhill. It was over an hour before food started to arrive at the table. 1 item was brought out and then it was a 5 minute delay before a couple of other items arrived. By the time the last dinner arrived it was a difference of 20 minutes! I had made several comments to our server about the wait. Eventually, a manager came over as one person in the party ordered grilled veggies as their side. The veggies were hard as a rock and looked like they had been tossed around on a dirty grill. The food was tasteless and bland at best. I had a bbq burger that was so greasy I couldn't eat it. In the end, the manager comped the burger for taking so long. Not sure why he thought over an hour for the rest was acceptable. He never did anything about the inedible veggies. I dug further and looked into their health scores. C's and D's for the last year according to the county website. What was once a good restaurant has now turned into complete garbage. I highly discourage you from visiting this establishment. Zero stars.

My fiancé food came out as pictured like someone just threw it on a steel tray. The ribs were mediocre at best and sauce was just okay.My chicken looked half done and the rib tips were horrible!!The sides? Where do I start? The potatoes were watered down and very loose. Mac and cheese was flavorless!!!I did enjoy my margarita and biscuits though. Looking for good bbq? I don’t recommend this place… sorry

Meat cuts were horrible nothing but fat on the 3 meat course we had. Even the manager was like this is how we do it. Bobby Q or Famous Dave's it is for me from now on.
Called in to place an order for pick-up. The young lady on the phone was very patient, explaining the menu and offering suggestions. We placed a large order and it was ready for pick-up in 15 minutes! I love that they have a separate pick-up window just inside the front entrance. And here is something you don't get from many restaurants these days. The young lady opened EVERY BOX in front of us to make sure the order was correct. Nice touch! We ordered baby back and St. Louis style ribs, both of which were fork tender. Also ordered the onion straw appetizer. Delicious! Cole slaw, green beans, grilled corn on the cob and biscuits. We enjoyed every last bite! Lucielle's (in my opinion) is one of the best BBQ restaurants around. Would definitely recommend.Parking: Located in Tempe Marketplace with tons of free parking, including ADA parking slots and several slots for pick up orders.

The worst drinks, appetizers, and dinners in the universe. One star in any category is overly generous. The meat was flavor less. The drinks were sour. The strawberry lemonade was sour as pickles. The “crispy shrimp” was grossly soggy. The fry’s were disgusting cooked in old oil. The coleslaw was chopped slop. And someone please tell me who the hell serves biscuits with chunks of sugar along with brown sugar cinnamon butter???? And they were hard! They offer zero alternative for all that sugar. But it’s okay said with a big smile! They’re complimentary! Been servin’ um’ fer 25 years!
Definitely won't be coming back. 10 years ago the food was good.this time around the server was rude and in a hurry for no damn reason. It was past lunch rush, no eye contact, and didn't let you get a word in. Food was mediocre at a higher price. Drinks were not to proper serving. I was a bartender and waitress for 8 years and this place wasn't friendly nor was the food good.

Went with a small group for lunch. All was great, and then the manager put our second round of drinks on hold until we finished the first. But then never released them to get made. None of us were showing any indications of having much of anything to drink. So I guess don't expect to be treated like you know your own responsibilities at lunchtime.Dietary restrictions: Our pescatarian colleague found plenty to order.
