Waited almost 2 hours for food and NEVER received it. Atmosphere was great, Gospel brunch, food would have been probably good if I would have ever received it. But I had to go off to work and make sure we told them it was BAD customer service today. It seems all their attention was on the Big parties that were there at the bigger tables and we were just forgotten about. Oh well, off to work I go. Would have been nice if I could have eaten before I had to hit the clock to work right.

Traveled to Phoenix and decided to check out RNB/Hip Hop Karoke night at Lush. It was a whole vibe, nice crowd, positive atmosphere and good food. Coming back in November with my crew for my Birthday and Lush will be one of our stops.

Beautiful ambience. The food was delicious. Loved the DJ she was playing really nice music. Would definitely recommend. Everything was seasoned. The lamb chops and the honey hot wings were chefs kiss. The pasta also was good.

I visited Phoenix a week ago for my birthday and this is a lounge that came up as a popular black grown and sexy lounge so I thought I’d try it out. I reserved a table for Saturday to enjoy the live music. I get there it was maybe 3 tables occupied and the server said the person performing they canceled due to the fight and because wasn’t enough reservations. Not really a big deal, but I was like dang because it was dead.

Next, I started reading reviews earlier that day again and noticed everyone talking about the dress code (I missed this before apparently) The site doesn’t mention no ripped jeans, but I realized the reservation screen did. My bad for not reading that. So I went on a hunt to find some jeans because I packed jeans that were ripped and I already put the deposit down and it was too late to cancel. I GET there and a girl ahead of us had on a shirt with fish net in the back, later people
Coming in with Air max, new balances, crotchet dresses…that isn’t upscale and it said no sneakers for men.

At this point I’m already irritated and ready to go because also the menu is different online than in person. So I was thrown off with what I wanted to eat and took a while to figure out what I wanted. On top of that the waitress left us for over 30 min tending to another table and didn’t hand us off properly to the waitress that was now taking over, which she apologized because she wasn’t aware we were here table, but then how was my salmon $35 on the ticket but $30 on the menu? Yea I just let it go and was ready to leave.

I was really disappointed in my experience and especially it being a black establishment. Maybe I came on a wrong day, but definitely
Need to be consistent with your dress code rules and update your website with the information as well as the menu items and prices.

Me and Bestie were looking for something to do on a Thursday night and enjoyed ourselves at Karaoke Thursdays! Drinks specials (Danni made me a BOMB Spicy Margarita last week and a delicious French 75 the week after! IJS Danni is that gurl!!) food specials, good throwbacks and a COMMUNITY crowd vibing out! Host was very in touch with the crowd, which made the night even better! I appreciate the grown environment! I didnt plan on singing AT ALL, but @Lush, you can't help it! I'll be back

Lush is a Black-owned business, and I truly want to support and uplift Black businesses — but accountability is important when the experience is this disappointing.
We had a reservation and still waited almost three hours to be served. Half the table got their food 45 minutes before the rest, which shows a lack of even the most basic hospitality training. Several menu items were unavailable, and what did arrive was far from “upscale.”

But what really offended me was the so-called “apology.” Instead of comping anything on the bill or offering a genuine solution, the owner sent over cheap tequila shots. Not everyone at our table even drinks, and in what world is that considered an apology for terrible service and bad food? It felt like an insult more than anything else.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added, and the server still asked for an additional tip. That level of service is unacceptable.

This type of experience is exactly why people hesitate to support Black-owned businesses, and it shouldn’t be that way. Lush needs serious investment in hospitality management, accountability, and customer care if they want to live up to the “upscale” brand they market.

My fiend and I traveled from GA, paid a deposit for brunch Sunday, arrived to the building and it was closed. They took the deposit and allowed us to book, but was closed upon arrival with no notice. We even received confirmation texts and emails, but no event….We never made it in but you should speak to someone before paying your deposit for this place.

I made a reservation and paid a $30 deposit to reserve a seat at Lush Lounge, expecting a smooth and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no one at the entrance to greet us or seat us. We stood there for over 20 minutes, clearly visible to the staff, yet no one came over to acknowledge us or offer assistance.

It was frustrating and honestly baffling to be ignored like that. The customer service was seriously lacking and made us feel invisible. After waiting patiently with no response from the staff, we decided to leave.

I used to really enjoy this place, but this experience has made me hesitant to return. It’s disappointing when a venue drops the ball on basic customer care.
