We said table for two. She said the buffet is $26+ pp or order off the menu. She took us to an area away from the waterfall. I said we would like a table with a waterfall view, please. She said there were no tables. So we walked in the area to leave to see 3 booths and 4 tables were empty. We left. New Year's Day. The place was not busy at all. I would rate service a 0.

We were there for my husband's birthday and the staff went above and beyond. The food was awesome, fresh and delicious. We requested if the Wings platter could be split into half with bones and half boneless and they did that. I loved how they made a cocktail into a mocktail for me! Going back there soon as it's so close to home.

The breakfast buffet food was crappy, especially for 26.00 each for the buffet. The sausage gravy was the worst I've tasted in my whole life..AND no sausage in it! The sausage links were awful. Much better at macdonalds! But the ambiance was worth it.

Interesting ambiance with an opening to the outdoors and an active waterfall. Certainly unique and interesting. Service is friendly and outstanding. Food, on the other hand, is pedestrian hotel food. Not terrible but nothing special.
The menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. The food was delicious and well seasoned.

Market Cafe is a nice breakfast place with a pretty standard menu connected to the nearby hotel via the sky bridge. I walked in unshowered and with toothbrush stains on my T-shirt and shorts, ordering the buttermilk pancakes.
SIDES - 2.5
The pancakes come with one side, of which I tried the ham and bacon. The ham was good, but the bacon was too crispy for me, which I realize is not a universal opinion, but nevertheless the right one.
Syrup and butter - 4
The syrup comes in a ceramic pouring cup, perfect for dipping or pouring. It had a good, classic syrup taste. There was also enough butter, but it was still wrapped, which made spreading slightly inconvenient since I didn't want to look like a fool.

The first thing that hits you is a strong aroma that demands your attention to the flap of jacks on the plate. From the first bite, I couldn't stop. The top of class fluffiness, the melty feeling as I swallowed, and the ease by which I could pull off another piece absolutely PREVENTED me from speaking to anyone at the table. All I could think about was how to efficiently deliver one more bite to my mouth.

The restaurant, to my uninformed surprise, was quite formal. If I were to go back, I'd definitely want to be a little groomed and nicer dressed if only a little. The seating was comfortable and I never had to shuffle things around to fit the dishes on the table. The atmosphere was pretty calm, with soft outdoor lighting and a few conversations from other groups being all you could hear. Despite my dressing like a dead possum, service was always nice and responsive to questions.

Took them over 15 minutes and only after we call them to attend our table. Table was set up yet dirty. High chair for todlers was dirty,I even got a pictures. Celery sticks were old so as carrots. There was a blond long hair waitress whose hair was sweeping tables and plates while serving. I will never ever go there nor recommend this place.

Would not recommend Mother’s Day Brunch- it was just OK, with limited options (not kid-friendly) and overpriced. Selection was similar to generic hotel breakfast, but priced at $70 per adult presumably simply because they know they can charge this based on the hotel name. Look elsewhere.

Kristen was an exceptional server who consistently met our needs and desires. She stood out as the best server I experienced during my time in Arizona. I highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you can be served by Kristen.

For Easter Brunch, I would expect them to take it up a notch. Food in the buffet line and carving stations was lukewarm, the tiny flowerpot on our table held a sad little dead plant, service was chipper and friendly but slow to clear plates and slow in general, and most of all it was kind of disappointing. And pricey, which would have been fine had things been otherwise. Just a few little touches would have made it stand apart from just an ordinary Sunday Brunch.
