Best breakfast in Arizona! When they say "scratch cooking", they're not joking. Locally sourced, and delicious!

We had a good sized group of eight people with a toddler and the waitstaff was exceptionally patient, helpful, accommodating, and pleasant. The food was wonderful!! I had the waffle which was very large and tasty. It came with two strips of thick bacon that was cooked perfectly. The prices were pretty good for the area and it's definitely a place to try when you're in the area.

If you're looking for a great breakfast place, you need to try Matt's Big Breakfast! LARGE portions at a reasonable price. Hot coffee, great bacon (thick and tasty), excellent service.

This was one of the first Triple D places I couldn't wait to try. I was lucky enough to eat at the original location in Downtown Phoenix that was in a tiny house. At the time it was worth the long wait. But thank the food gods because now there are 5 larger locations so the wait times aren't as bad. The past few years we have been eating at this location. My go to is the Chop & the Chick, pork chop with eggs, potatoes & toast. Amazing! The pork is so tasty they put a pesto sauce to cook. The toast comes with homemade jam. The bacon is amazing too, thick and crunchy. Get the Hog & the Chick and that is what you get. Their Country Potatoes are delicious with rosemary, but Hash Browns are good too. Bloody Mary's are the drink here.

Sky harbor location A gates. Michael needs an inside voice! There is a long table with 20 chairs. A server dragged each one across the floor to sweep. Fingernails on blackboard effect. Eggs over medium were perfect. Ate at bar.. good bartender Chris.

We found this in an unexpected location among a number of business buildings. The services was great and my breakfast burrito weighed about 3 pounds.

Delicious! Not quite up to the original location in downtown Phoenix, but close. The restaurant is cute and the food is still wonderful—a little slow when busy, no house made hot sauce.

Had a delicious breakfast at Matt’s! Our server Daniel took very good care of us and was attentive, outgoing and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the cheese omelet with bacon added and the salami scramble, both with the home fries. Both meals were delish. The sour dough toast with the strawberry compote was yummy. The restaurant is clean and modern. Overall a delightful breakfast.

Not bad place, but I don’t know what the big deal is about this place. Was very packed. I’m not sure why they call it Matt’s big breakfast. You get an average size dish and the food isn’t spectacular. I got big papa burrito, and it was alright. Potatoes in it were slightly hard which indicates it was undercooked. Burrito was good but I wouldn’t get it again. Gf had the grains, greens, and beans. I tasted and thought beans were hard and undercooked. They charge $2 to add mushrooms!

Great place serving awesome food with wonderful customer service! Often crowded and busy for a good reason! Serving the usual breakfast fare however with a twist to make the right improvements and give their dishes a special flavor you won’t find just anywhere along with a nice ambiance in a clean restaurant that has a menu with something for everyone on it!

My food was pretty good, but 50% of breakfast is coffee. And this was, hands down, the absolute worst coffee I've ever tasted. Weak, watery and tasted of bleach. I'm from the Portland area, so the organic (slightly pretentious) environment is nice. But the pool water coffee is unforgivable. I would never go back.

Nothing over the top or fancy... just a clean place with a updated feel for breakfast... staff was very helpful & friendly... although it was busy at lunch & a large open space, it did not feel overwhelmingly loud... I would have no problems going back to this restaurant
