We were up to Tempe for a flight out of town.Needed a place to eat,so strolled down Mill street.Luckily we found Mellow Mushroom! The beer selection is amazing ? Something for everyone ,with an excellent selection of wheat beers.Our server Sophie,was amazing and helpful.Fellow employee Justin ,on his day off,having lunch,joined in our conversations, helping us pick menue items,and beer choices.We felt very welcomed and included. The beer was excellent, and the pizza!!! Second to none.We also ordered a chicken/ steak hoagie,and side salad.The food quality is first class,the portions huge,half the food went home because I couldn't take it on the plane,or finish it.We plan to visit again when I return from my trip! I just wish we lived closer then 3 hours each way,we'd come all the time! Thanks Sophie and Justin for hanging out with us,we had a great time!!

You may want to update your Apple profile. I came in at 1145, and the bartender was so rude. This could have been avoided if you maintained your online presences. Now I’ve told ten people how awful the service was, and it could have been avoided

This place makes some of the best pizza in Tempe......the service isn't always the quickest as it seems to be short staffed no matter what month I go in so not sure of the issue there how-ever once waited on they are friendly

Our second visit to this location. Neither time was all that great. For some reason we were seated in the back corner of a mostly empty restaurant. Perhaps this out of the way location explains the slow inattentive service. Pizza was overall decent. Overall they earn a 3 star rating. There are other options to try before we will visit here again.

Faith and Phoebe are the go to servers here. They are both so welcoming and do not act like npcs who hate their job. Faith gave my friends and I good advice to about our food and Phoebe had the service top notch. ?????

First time here, had always walked by, but the smell if pizza caught my nose. Chad was the only server/bartender working and did an awesome job. Had the pineapple mocktail, yummy! The pizza was delicious, and the pretzel bites as well.

The entire experience from beginning to end hardly deserves one star. Once we got seated it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come over, She dropped off menus but no drink menu. I had to get up and go to the bar to get a drink menu. Then she finally came back. We ordered two different beers. She came back after 10 minutes and said they were having problems with the keg. Then another waitress came back 15 minutes later and said they were out of those two beers. So basically it took us about 35 minutes to get an initial drink. Finally ordered some food, we ordered one pizza and the other people I was with ordered a different meal. After about 25 minutes their meal came out. And then after about another 30 minutes the pizza came out which was slightly warm. The waiter obviously forgot to bring it over to the table and it sat for a very long time, it was very subpar. Then we waited and waited for the check and I finally had to get up to go to the bar to get it. All four of us were very disappointed in the entire event. We will never be going back to any mellow mushroom.
