I haven't written a review in awhile, but was compelled to after having lunch there yesterday for the 1st time. My family and I had never been there, but they had such great reviews, we figured we would give it a shot, and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely incredible. I had everyone get their own meal (there was 4 of us) so that we could all have leftovers for the week, then we decided to get some fried rice, noodles, the hot and sour soup, and yes...
This is a solid Chinese restaurant. We have been coming here for years. The food is California Chinese restaurant quality, and they have great fried spicy fish as well as chicken dishes. The soups are spot on as well. We have tried the west lake beef soup and the rib and noodle soup. All taste like Chinese home cooking without all the work. This restaurant is also right next to Joe’s Italian ice. It’s a great way to cool off after some great tongue numbing Szechuan spicy cuisine.
