This place is not the best. The food was cold and not really fresh cook. If you want to go to Ono Hawaiian. The best place is in Suprise area. That place in Suprise the the best champ. They cook it fresh and long wait for the foods. But not like one in Tempe. They cooked and keep it warm. Not the great.

I loved this place for the last 3 years, but the quality of their food for the last 2 months has significantly deteriorated. Chicken katsu is just a set of very small amount of oily jerky meat that is hard to chew(and this is very likely to be intentional! They put this low quality meat under the better one to make it look okay outside, but if you stir out the plates, you can find like 30 percent of chicken katsu awful), and bbq short ribs was embarrassingly small sized that isn't worth the price. I would not visit this place until I see like 10 good reviews comming up.

I should have spent 5 minutes checking reviews. This food was abhorrent. Chicken katsu was a greasy chewy mess. The chicken breast teriyaki taste like pure salt and is inedible. The crab Rangoon is also somehow disgustingly salty, it was literally spat out.
My five year old likes the mushy rice. 👍

I can not get enough of the short rib. I had not had Ono in years and coming back was worth it. Though the food is pretty good, the price is kind of outrageous. Due to the price, ill only hit this spot up when im really craving Hawaiian food.

Prompt service, excellent Hawaiian food, generous portions, who could complain.
Disappointed with our first visit. We had some coupons to redeem and thought we'd try it out. Only car in the drive thru yet it took 10 minutes for the order to come out, no apology or acknowledgement. Came home to find that both our meals had rice when we had asked for mac salad -- it was even printed correctly on the ticket. The katsu and sauce were good but a disappointing experience, we won't be back.

I think I waited 23 minutes ..boy including the wait before placing my order. The food was great but everyone moved like zombies...this is why I always carry that za. I was bothered bothered just a lil bothered cause I live pretty far away and just wanted to get home but overall id endure it again. I love y'all BBQ musubi and y'all plates smack so.....yea. Grade: B- (taste and hot food account for alot, so good job there)

I ordered a family meal with Chicken Katsu today. And the Katsu was dried and super hard to chew(see attached image). Also, the Katsu has oily smell. This means the oil has been reused for a long time. They didn't change oil. Very disappointed. Also, the serving size was reduced a lot. DO NOT RECOMMEND CHICKEN KATSU here as oil was not changed (reusing oil will be harmful for our health).
