10/10! I love this place! Meet here occasionally with my daughter, who lives in Tempe. The vibe is great, it’s low key and chill, outdoor cute seating, food is delicious and freshly prepared, lots of vegan/vegetarian options, and not insanely overpriced with small portions, like you’ll experience in most of Scottsdale.
Perfect Pear Bistro is one of my favorite brunch spots in Tempe when I want fresh comfort food and a relaxed morning out. Their menu offers a fun variety, think roasted butternut squash tacos, Pear Cobb salad, plus vegetarian & vegan swap-ins so everyone in the group is happy. The patio setting feels cheerful and casual; I especially appreciate the shaded outdoor tables and misters (so it doesn’t get too hot) when brunching later in the morning. Service tends to be warm...
Today, I tried the Mushroom Gouda Soup and the Sweet Potato Fries w/ Pesto Aioli sauce, paired with their Quad City Melt (thinly sliced steak, sautéed mushrooms, carmelized onions, 4-cheese blend, tomatoes, and chipotle aioli), but I switched it up for a toasted ciabatta bread instead of the toasted marbled rye bread, and got a desert to go, which was the hot peach-pair cobbler with caramel drizzle and ice cream on the side, to take home!
