A must stop while I am in Tempe! Absolutely amazing Thai tea ice cream and the tastiest taro cone!!! 🍦 There are also many drink options and flavors!

As a matcha connoisseur and foodie I really appreciate they use high grade quality matcha, only very few places around Phoenix area do so.

Worth it for the Japanese authenticity and actual crisp matcha flavor.

Coming from out of state to try this viral matcha dessert place and it didnt disappoint! We got the ube and vanilla soft serve maiko special and its yummy and huge sugar overloads 😋 ube soft serve didnt leave chemical after taste. Will be back to try to matcha flavor next time!

Very clean and friendly staff. The matcha was flavored perfectly on everything that we ordered. The Matcha Tiramisu - delicious, Snowflake Chiffon cake was on point, the matcha/ube swirl perfect not to sweet, the matcha latte ube float and matcha latte was very good. Will be going back and highly recommended.

Only 4 stars because I wish they were open earlier ! They are legit the best matcha I’ve had in Az very true to taste 👅 I would be an active morning customer if they were open !!!!

Great atmosphere, location, and selection on the menu. It’s a small shop, but that’s alright; the place doesn’t need to be big to be good. The menu is limited mainly to drinks and sweets, but the flavor makes it worth it.

I had a seasonal-flavored parfait, and it was delicious! The closer I got to the bottom, the more flavors I tasted and I learned what I liked and didn’t like. If you’re autistic and want to try new things, this is a good place to hit up.

Got diarrhea and vomiting after consuming Matcha Float with Thai Tea. Someone we know also threw up after consuming products here a while ago. Used to love this place for the taste but WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN!!!

Quick service, good portion sizes, and delicious matcha. I had a matcha latte float and it was very good. My only thing was I found the inside seating uncomfortable, but the drinks were amazing!

Modern, Japanese drink selections served at a moderate price point. $$$/$$$$$ and designed with art-deco theme reflecting mainland elements. Art-deco designed drinks, (again) supporting mainland serving techniques otherwise difficult to find within The United States. Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko seeks to bring mainland Japanese fare to Tempe with minimal discrepancies. Service standards, did little justice to represent the venue, as a whole. Our party was met by staff described as lacking attention to detail. Lacking attention to detail, distracted and cool in demeanor. Off putting, and left a bad taste within our mouths.

the BEST MATCHA out of phoenix but sometime they ran out of it which is kinda of disappointed when you drive 30 minutes to go there.

We dined in and really enjoyed everything! The desserts were delicious — not too sweet and super smooth with a nice rich matcha flavor. The only downside was the matcha tiramisu didn’t look quite like the one on the menu, so it wasn’t very “photo-worthy” 😅.
But taste-wise, it was still great! Highly recommend the Matcha Chiffon Cake — absolutely loved it!

The matcha soft serve is delicious!
