this place is so effortlessly cool and beyond delicious, totally unassuming and without pretense, and Allen (i believe his name was) is super conversational. also, he gave me an extra side of his secret chili oil and karaage sauce and even one extra wasn't enough is all i gotta say

Thought abt not reviewing this and gate keeping it cause ITS THAT GOOD. The portion sizes are insane for the price omg it was so gas. The price for my ramen was 13 bucks for the best tonkzu ramen I’ve ever had. Genuinely so good guys. It’s so cute and homey as well. Great spot for a date fs

I had the privilege of eating from here three nights in a row a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed every moment of it. The food was incredible, and Alan and his team were truly wonderful. There was something about each meal that kept drawing me back. Honestly, it reminded me of the movie *Simply Irresistible*—where people become almost entranced by the food because of the care and heart the chef pours into every dish.

Service was horrible, food was good. I had to end up bussing our own table, going and getting water, chopsticks, napkins etc from the waiter area. It was kind of embarrassing. But the ramen was delicious, especially the shio ramen. Normally most shio ramen is pretty boring and bland, but this was great.

How could I possibly rank this? This is the best ramen you are going to have anywhere in Arizona. There are probably others on the same level, but none are better. It’s 10/10. Perfect. At this level there is nothing to improve, it just becomes an expression of the chefs preference.
A great painter has maxed out their technical ability; we don’t rank the masters on technically ability, but instead on artistic vision.
Thjs ramen is that. Nothing is anything other than what the chef has intended. It’s perfect.

I've tried quite a few ramen restaurants in Tempe, but few have earned my loyalty and praise the way this place has. The ramen is balanced and consistent in flavor with just the right portion size. Alan-san and the staff are friendly and stive to make the experience memorable. The atmosphere is cozy and warm making it perfect for solo, group, and date nights. I've been a patron for as long as they've been here and I will continue that loyalty because it truly is a great place.
