Look, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again louder for the people in the back: Sake Bomber in Tempe is top-tier sushi sorcery. It opens at 4 PM and shuts down at 9:30 PM, probably because the sushi is so good it needs a break too .So I tell my brother after work, “We’re going on a nostalgia-fueled sushi adventure,” because he was the first one to ever get me hooked on raw fish and rice as a child. Naturally, we rolled up right at opening like the sushi fanatics we are. And guess what? Sake Bomber did not disappoint. Again. Like a loyal friend with wasabi breath.The chef personally whipped up his signature house habanero sauce – it’s spicy, it’s sassy, it’s basically edible lava. I highly recommend it, especially with that “Evil Roll” I’ve been raving about. It’s called the Evil Roll for a reason – it’ll mess you up in the best way.Then, plot twist: the chef and server dropped a hot tip – try their homemade Ponzu sauce with the sashimi. That tangy, zesty goodness soaked into the fish and bam – suddenly my brother was having a full-blown childhood flashback to eating sushi with our older sister. It was like emotional time travel, but tastier.So if you haven’t tried this place yet, what are you even doing with your life? Go. Eat. Cry happy wasabi tears. We love the owners Eric and Rebecca! They are kind people who take pride in their restaurant. We’ve tried the chicken Teriyaki and their homemade Boba Lemonade and they both were delicious! Highly recommend this place!

This has been our favorite local place for sushi since we were introduced to it almost 6 years ago. At this price level, they are easily the best sushi spot in the area. Favorite cooked rolls are dragon, caterpillar, Tootsie, and salmon dynamite. Favorite raw are juicy, lollipop, and sunshine. If you're feeling adventurous , I highly recommend their omakase dinner for a off-menu items crafted by the chef (reservation required).
My only (minor) criticism is that they do only have one sushi chef, so the wait for food can be a bit long during peak times like Friday nights. But personally, I think the food is worth the wait.

I love this place, me and my boyfriend come because we have a great time and the atmosphere is relaxing and dim - perfect for date nights. Their drinks are made with real fruit ingredients, so any drink is delicious! Their sushi is brought fresh and service has always been memorable. Their prices are a steal in return for the quality and taste of their alcoholic drinks. 10/10 recommend to anyone, they also have a full service bar!

We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Tuna Sashimi, and a Black Raspberry Lemon Drop. Everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were beautiful, the sashimi was the perfect color, texture, and flavor, and the ponzu sauce made from scratch was so good! The lemon drop was made from scratch as well and had the perfect blend of sweet and tart. I will definitely be back again and will spread the word!

The drinks are amazing!! Had the ruby grapefruit mojito! Yum! All their cocktails are freshly made! And the sushi was good - Vegas Roll was one of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is swanky and nice! I'll go back for sure and would recommend!
