I used to be a fan of a different local Thai restaurant but last few times I didn’t enjoy it and I thought I just didn’t like Thai food that much. Met some friends here and wow one of the best meals I have had in a long time. My wife was very impressed with the presentations. I was impressed that my Diet Coke tasted so good. Which is generally a very good sign. I highly recommend trying the mango and sticky rice desserts one of the best things I have ever had. Server was also really nice. It’s a clean stylish little joint. But most importantly some of the best food in Tempe. I highly recommend this place

Perfect little Thai spot. Your first breath after walking in and you can SMELL that you found the right place. The dining area is quaint and clean, and the menu is concise and American friendly. The staff was AMAZING though and really made my visit special. LaLa is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, very attentive, and listened to what I was looking for to offer the best recommendation for me. 10/10 bringing my co-workers next time!

I’ve been to Sala Thai a few times now and every visit just confirms why it’s one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently excellent my go-to dishes are the tom yum, their rich curries, drunken noodles, and the crab omelette. Everything always tastes fresh and well-prepared.

The staff and owners are incredibly welcoming and kind which makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is tidy and well-kept, so you can really enjoy your meal in a comfortable space. They recently did a fun collaboration for their dessert, and it was a nice touch that showed they put creativity and care into their menu.

I’d recommend Sala Thai to anyone, you can’t go wrong at any of their locations. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving great Thai food.

Best Thai food I ate in Arizona. I highly recommend their street food menu.
You can bring your own booze if you want to have a drink.

Super cute decor and cozy, but small with limited seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thai Tea was delicious. Garlic wings had a bit too much bread to offset the chicken and barely tasted chicken. Would have stuck with the skewers and the chili sauce, which was very yummy. Pad Thai was good, but stir fried noodles so had some crunchy areas which I don't love in my noodles.

We were looking for a Thai restaurant to celebrate my birthday and stumbled upon this spot in Tempe near Broadway. It’s easy to find, and when we walked in, the place looked cute as a button — cozy, limited seating, with couches and chairs that gave it more of a café vibe. While the couches were comfortable, they weren’t the most practical for dining.

The ambiance felt fresh and modern, and the menu was surprisingly extensive — covering appetizers, stir-fries, curries, noodles, rice, and specialties.

For starters, we tried the chicken satay and shrimp tempura. The chicken satay was delicious — nicely grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. The shrimp tempura, however, was a letdown. It lacked flavor and came off a bit too bland.

For mains, we ordered the Khao Soi (curry noodles) and Suki Hang. Presentation was excellent and thoughtfully done. The curry noodles, though, were just okay — the coconut-based curry was overpowering and felt more like sipping straight curry than enjoying a balanced noodle dish. The Suki Hang was good, but overall the food leaned more modern and Americanized than authentic Thai.

We ended with mango sticky rice. The mango was fresh and generously portioned, but the sticky rice was average compared to other versions I’ve had.

Overall, it’s a nice spot with reasonable prices, but not the most authentic Thai experience. I’d come back for a light bite, maybe a salad, but as a whole it was an average experience.

Cool little spot with tasty food but the store front is small so expect to wait for a table or just order takeout

Small but beautiful restaurant with a lovely style and amicable staff. It was a bit busy but luckily we were able to get a table and our dishes came quickly after ordering. The food was 10/10- went with some friends and we got the Khao Moo Dang, drunken noodles, pad see ew, and curry noodles, and everything was delicious! I personally got the Khao Moo Dang and the skewers were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the side sauce had a nice kick. Will definitely be going back again!
