Such good Thai food. Flavor spot on. I had the Moo Ping grilled pork skewers and they were so tender and juicy and bursting with flavor didn’t even need the dipping sauce. We shared the drunken noodles with veggies which were so fresh and crispy. And we also shared the Basil street food with beef and fried egg. So good! And the way they fry the egg is so pretty and delicious. Well worth the drive to Tempe.
Eaten at the restaurant 3 times. Yesterday we ordered a Green Curry spice 2. The spice was more like a 5. The restaurant manager could see my wife could not eat it, offered us additional rice to lower temp of spice, milk etc. Usually you consider would I comeback to the restaurant when you have not such a good experience. Sala Thai is a high quality Thai restaurant. We had the chicken massaman, spicy fried rice, chicken skewers, pork skewers, and Thai coffee, all of which was delicious ? It's a small space, but it's a friendly atmosphere and their wait staff are very friendly and efficient. They also do a lot of take out orders. It's our new favorite Thai restaurant.
