Incredibly rude clerks every time I’ve been in there (3 whole times). Terribly expensive prices for everything, including gas. Always at least 10 cents or more cheaper right across the street.Don’t waste your time or money here. Would not recommend to anyone but an enemy.

The cabeza tacos are absolutely delicious. I work right down the street from this hidden gem and would recommend this to anyone! I'll be there next week I'm sure.

Did not expect this spot to be in a gas station but it was! Took me a second to find. I went today because all el gordo locations are offering free food for those with school employee IDs! I got a veggie burrito (no sour cream) and chips with guacamole. There are barely any customers but I did have to wait a pretty long time for my food, and when I got it it was a little cold. So I am wondering if they forgot about it in back or something? It still tasted good though. I liked the salsas! I did think it was strange that their chips were served with a guacamole sauce drizzled on top instead of on the side, made the chips a bit soggy. But otherwise not bad. I'd say this is a 3.5 star kinda place!

Extremely overpriced, didn't provide a receipt, and the phone is down for the gas station. They also didn't list prices for some of the beverages. I purchased a small water, protein bar (3.50), iced tea, AZ iced tea, energy drink, and candy. Somehow this cost over $30?!? I can't even verify the price as they did not provide a receipt.

I'd like to go into the store first time ever and even being in this area but we did have a fabulous or not to come in and talk to the manager tomorrow
Street tacos: 10/10, quesabirria: 10/10, rice & beans: 10/10. Even included tons of salsas and limes for toppings. I would kiss the chef right on the lips if I could. Ordered $40 worth of food in a fit of late night hunger and ate every single bite leaving no crumbs. I'm always skeptical about trying new Mexican restaurants but I have NO regrets and will order from here every time I'm craving a taco for the rest of my life.

I never thought I would get food from a gas station, but now I can say I have. I Google best tacos nearby, El Gordo came up and was close by. Since we were starving, we decided to try it. I got tacos, and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast chorizo burrito. I really enjoyed my tacos. My tortillas were a bit more crispy than most people might like, but I actually like them like that. My boyfriend said his chorizo burrito was a bit bland. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely go back for the carne asada tacos.

The Mexican restaurant inside will cheat you. I paid almost $2 for extra cheese on a burrito and they barely put ANY cheese on the burrito…smh The girl cooking food in the am has a bad energy/vibe too. I won’t be going back.

The wait is worth it. I used to have a rule- No gas station food... have now eliminated that rule This little shop inside the Shell gas station has excellent food. Tacos are tasty- tried beef and chicken. A must try if you are in the area. Service was quick despite being busy.
