Amazing rooftop lounge. My wife and I went here while in town. The drinks were great. The service was fantastic. And the views were stunning.

We arrived and security at the door asked us if we had tickets and we stated we had reservations. Everyone was confused. They finally let us in but there was some event going on and no tables for dining, no food available. Limited bar tenders for too many people. If there are events closing food and dining down reservations shouldn't be available on the app. Very odd and uncomfortable experience.

I was really disappointed with Skysill Tempe. The view is nice, but the prices are absolutely outrageous. We ordered just two beers and two margaritas — and the bill came out to $82 before tip. The drinks were average at best, definitely not worth what they’re charging. You can find much better spots in Tempe with better service and more reasonable prices. Definitely not going back.

Our server Mika or Minka was a rock star! She is a girls girl through and through. Kyler also helped us out initially when arriving when we were confused about seating. You can make a reservation online but there is an issue with the website so it is first come first serve! Alex the manager was also super great and all staff were super accommodating. My friend is celiac and they offered options and were very transparent and cautious about cross contamination. Great place!

Since reservations were only available at 5pm and 8pm, I expected to find a busy rooftop deck pool party scene. We arrived to be the only folks there— for like an hour. Just sleepy.

Disappointing Experience I was really looking forward to visiting after seeing the photos—it looked like a great spot to take a colleague visiting Arizona for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. This is truly a pool bar, which isn't made clear in the advertising. We went in early October, beers on tap were not available (too hot out). They were also out of multiple beverages, one after another. The menu was limited (as expected), but the food itself was decent and portions were generous. The staff was friendly and seemed genuinely apologetic about the lack of options. The space itself could really use an update. The bar and surrounding furniture show clear wear from the Arizona heat, and it takes away from the overall experience. While the setting is casual and poolside—appropriate for swimwear guests—it's not ideal for a business lunch or casual meet-up with visitors. The view was nice, but not quite as impressive as the photos suggest. Overall, it just didn't feel like the experience that was advertised, and I wouldn't plan to return.
