I and a friend had lunch here and it was just delicious inexpensive. Pad seew, Eggplant were both flavorful plus you get a comp bowl of soup and coconut ice cream. Our waitress Jenny was very nice 👍🏽

This is my favorite thai restaurant in AZ. I order doordash all the time and the food is always delicious, hot, and the portions are huge. Their pad thai is the best, usually order the chicken pad thai and it comes with fried tofu as well. I’ve tried other thai restaurants but none is as good as Smile Thai🤤

Got the Mussmun curry and drunken noodle. Curry was watery and mid, noodles bland and boring. Unfortunate because I love both these dishes at most Thai places.

I came here when I was younger (8 years ago) and the restaurant was owned by a family friend when the thai food was actually authentic and they served more unique dishes like Nam Kao .Ever since they changed owners in my opinion the quality and taste have gone downhill. My Server was attentive for the most part, Service and the Seafood Rad Na highlights this whole experience . The sticky rice was undercooked had a funky smell to it . For the price that you guys charge I expect the rice to be fully cooked . The Mango salad and Papaya salad… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on those two dishes they are not spicy. It’s definitely not Lao style and not appetizing. Both salads were left barely touched at the table. If you like authentic thai food skip this place. (this place used to be Smile Lao Thai).

It was less than exciting. The spring roles were good but the orange chicken was blah and tough. The fried rice was nothing more than brown rice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited Smile Thai Restaurant on 8/24/25, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. The food was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. Every dish tasted authentic and made with so much care.
The customer service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the entire experience feel extra special.
It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the service at such a high level, but Smile Thai truly delivers. I’ll be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know, and I can’t wait to come back again. Easily one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to!

One of my favorite Thai places in town! All the servers are friendly, there's usually always a seat, they have a great Pad Thai and pumpkin curry, and they've got a killer Thai Iced Tea. A great choice for lunch or dinner, with usually enough leftover food for your next meal.
