DATE: Sun, Feb 16, 2025 (Approx 8:50a) - LOCATION: 1620 W ELLIOTT RD, TEMPE, AZ. MNGR ON SHIFT: “ASHLEY” ~ NEGATIVE ZERO STARS warranted based on my experience this morning. I’ve been a Starbucks Gold Member since approx 2007 (shortly after Rewards Program creation). However, I was Starbucks fan long before then. My spend is between $12 -$14 DAILY until recently. This morning, the Mngr “ASHLEY” called the Police on me (Right..I’m still confused), Record Filed against me w/Tempe PD AND I was indefinitely BANNED from the location. Are you kidding me?!?! For what, Ms. Starbucks?? Exactly, you didn’t have an answer. REWIND Prior to Officers Arriving: I was told by “ASHLEY” I would not be served after all and to wait outside until the Police arrived which I informed her I would not wait outside as I hadn’t done anything wrong. WHO exactly do you think you are?? I’m close to 60Yrs old. I’ve primarily frequented this location since Apr 2016. And unfortunately, the interaction this morning was allll due to a Mngr having a power trip as I wouldn’t allow her to treat or speak to me in an acceptable manner as if she’s some superior being and I’m beneath her. She best remember, “WE” the “CUSTOMERS” are paying your salary. Mind you, I did not threaten her in any way nor act as though I would harm her. No rash movements period. There were (2) Staff Members and (2) Individuals present through-out the entire interaction. Shame on you Starbucks for hiring such a poor, poor representation of your brand. Disappointing and disgusting treatment… No excuse for what occurred. ~Ms. V

Blonde kid behind the counter is extremely nice but the girls making the drinks are not. Took 12 mins for two shots of espresso ….. I get h big busy but that’s insane. No smile, no good customer service. Starbucks is really going down hill.

Today i went in to get my coffee but their espresso machine was down! but the employees handled it so well and they were so polite and apologetic offering customers refunds for the inconvenience. It didn’t bug me! I just ended up getting a pink drink with some cold foam and it ended up so good. One of the best I’ve ever had. i hope no one gave the employees a hard time!

Instead of Instacarting this morning, I decided to visit the store. The staff was friendly, and my 4 shot cappuccino was excellent. Also ordered two of the Maple Chicken sandwiches, and they were heated just right. I will definitely visit this store again.

One of the BEST Starbucks locations. All of the employees are great baristas and willing to accommodate their customers. They always make my order right and is my go-to location.
Easily my favorite Starbucks of all time. The staff here is super friendly and super awesome. My drinks have always been amazing.

I order the same thing almost every day! But I rather go out of my way and go to another location. I always in advance so I don’t have to wait. Everyone I order from here it’s long waits even after putting in an online order. My drink never tastes right. Today it tasted like watered down milk. No matcha flavor or the syrups I pay extra for. Always so disappointed with this store. If I could get a refund I would and again I will continue to go out of my way to go to another location. Today I just had no choice.
