Was a good little ice cream place with some flavorful tastings

I have loved Sweet Republic ice cream and homemade treats like brittle and marshmallows for well over a decade. Going to any of their locations is a delightful sweet treat, and there are always surprise flavors that never fail to disappoint. Everything is made from scratch and absolutely divine. I feel like this is a hidden gem of the Valley yet also so well known for its delicious quality ice cream.

It was good the flavors weren't bursting but rather lite tasting, which is okay too.

Sweet Republic is my favorite place in Phoenix for dairy-free treats! Their sorbet-only flavors like chocolate, coconut, and mango margarita are absolutely delicious and thoughtfully kept in a separate case with clean scoops, which shows how much they care about dietary needs. The shop itself has a modern, welcoming vibe and offers some really creative, small-batch flavors that are made in-house. Everything tastes fresh, rich, and indulgent. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a scoop, whether you're vegan, lactose-intolerant, or just love great ice cream.

We came in for free scoop day, but had been patrons before! We absolutely love, love, love this place!

This location is on the waterfront so its very pretty. Parking can be tricky now that there are more businesses in the area.

This place sells one the best Ice cream! Just tried their double trouble with creme brulee and eclair flavors. It's creamy and incredible delicious. The waffle slices I had with it is a must try. The staff are really friendly and the place is pretty cool. A must try if you're around the Tempe town lake.

Really solid! Butter pecan was a standout to me. The sesame banana was inventive but missing an acidic element to balance it out IMO. Would come back and try other flavors. Not 100% sure but they seem to use some thickeners to help with the ice cream consistency. Doesn’t seem like it’s all just a custard base to me.

Gourmet, creamy, dense ice cream! My favorite ice cream shop in the valley. Unique & seasonal flavors, and I love that the ice cream doesn't taste airy or "whippy." I also love that it's more creamy rather than icy. The air & fat content makes it so smooth & dense. Similar to gelato texture. Yum!!!

Fun little place, kind of crowded. Sometimes they have flavors that seem like a joke like asparagus. Don't get those.

The ice cream is delicious, and the staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful!
