A wonderful breakfast and brunch surprise in a neighborhood strip center. The loaded waffles are indeed loaded and delicious. So is the thick cut bacon. Get a Bloody Mary loaded with extras, and definitely get a pastry to go. Good espresso drinks, too.
This was our third occasion dining at Sweetest Seasons as we continued to explore their dinner menu. Served in a Tapas style, the two of us had the Whipped Feta, the Panko Tomato's, the Bodega Shrimp, and the Mushroom and Spinach Empanadas. Our server was vey friendly and the ambience was pleasant. The meal was absolutely delicious. We'll be back!
What a delight! We enjoyed their wonderful brunch menu and when we found that they reinvented themselves as a tapas restaurant we had to try. What a great menu, great service and delicious food. This is a terrific addition to Tempe's dining scene. Tasty options for vegetarians as well. Highly recommended.
Went here for dinner and it was lovely! Food, staff, and atmosphere was all great. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the mushroom empanadas were really flavorful, and the burrata was also really yummy. Can't wait to try more of their food, the quality really is amazing.
Fresh and fun! The tapas are fantastic and the wines are great, too.
Very pleasant atmosphere, the meal was very enjoyable, unique, interesting and delicious. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan to be regular customers.
Loyal visitor and consumer of all the Sweetest Season goodies and entrees. Last I took my family for the first time to Bodega for the new dinner menu, and all I can say is WOW!! Everything was freshly made, amazing presentation and ridiculously palate pleasing! The cauliflower is not your mother’s vegetable, it’s flavor pack and worth getting two orders! The whipped feta was delicious and surrounded by olives and red peppers for a complete flavor infusion! The empanadas and meatballs, well you’ll just have to try them! There are no words to describe their deliciousness! Todd and Melody, kuddos to a lovely transition to dinner! We will be back! Hugs, your raving fans!
So sad... I drove all the way to Tempe to have some bomb breakfast to find they no longer serve breakfast instead now serving tapas/wine. I’m not going to mess w their ratings since I didn’t try the food & I’m sure it’s good - but why ruin a great thing? ? The place was always packed because their breakfast and coffee was so amazing.
Sweetest Season is Absolutely Amazing, becoming one of our favorites in the Valley.Melody has cornered the market in her style of making you feel as if every meal has been custom designed especially for you. From the moment you walk in, you're treated as family and the Service is stellar.Recently, they are changing gears, offer evening meals. We're excited to see what the Elkins's have in store for us !!!Chip & Sherry
Great little place great service! Can't wait to try everything on the new Tapas menu! Everything is made in house. I have never had anything I wasn't impressed with❤️

Favorite breakfast place. Converting over to dinner device. Excited and sad at the same time. Great food.
I made a reservation here for Mother's Day. We have a family of six so a reservation is a must for Mother's Day. I got a reminder text and confirmed 24 hours prior to the event. We showed up at the restaurant, and the doors were locked and lights were out. A sign on the door said: “New Hours: Thursday-Saturday” Not the kind of Mother's Day I was trying to give my wife. Thanks a lot.
The reviews had our expectations set high for this place. However, we were disappointed in the food. The loaded waffles were very dry and without the toppings there is no flavor. The French toast was an egg tasting mush. $26 for such disappointing food.
First time here, the food was fantastic. The service was prompt and extremely friendly. ? Recommend this place.
What a cute little coffee shop! There's art on the wall, fairly certain it's art for sale. We were warmly greeted and seated right away.I came here knowing I wanted the waffles after a Yelp search. I got a cappuccino with spicy cinnamon syrup, it was so good!! It was just a hint of cinnamon, nothing overpowering. I just love the taste of the two together! The waffles with berries were delicious! The berries tasted fresh, the waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside but soft inside with a delicious hint of vanilla and cinnamon and it was topped with vanilla bean whipped cream that really brought it all together nicely! My honey tried the brioche with gravy and sausage. The gravy is very flavorful but light. Almost as if it's made from a broth, the brioche was delicious, it was crunchy outside, soft inside and the sausage was delicious. The gravy and sausage are on the bottom and the brioche is placed on top, which we weren't expecting. It was tasty, nonetheless, just thought it was going to be like biscuits and gravy but it was even better! He got a mocha latter with a few extra shots. Big fan. He also ordered a side of the candied bacon, he was a fan, I was not. To be fair, I’m just learning to eat pork and I don’t think I’m gonna be a fan of bacon, I like my turkey bacon and only when I make it.We wanted to try a pastry but were full after our breakfast so we'll just have to come back to try those!! The staff was amazing, very chatty and attentive, it's always nice when we get to talk to the staff a bit, makes it more enjoyable. Prices were fair, they have a nice selection of cocktails, some beer, wine. It's right next a Fry's, looked closed when we showed up so don't drive away without walking up, it's so worth a try!!
