Of all the ramen I've eaten in the valley; they're clearly working some magic in the kitchen here at Tanpopo. The tonkotsu broth was super light yet full of flavor. The think pork strips were so fatty and juicy and the soy egg was excellent once it hit the hot broth and I dipped my noodles into the runny yolk. Perfect noodles round it out with just enough bite to them and when combined with all the toppings in the bowl, it was a different yet amazing flavor each and every bite.
Crispiest takoyaki I have ever had and will definitely come back for more to try their other ramen bowls. But for a guaranteed hit, I'll always pick the tonkotsu.
Also butterfly pea flower tea is nice💜💜💜 as is the asahi on draft.
Will definitely come back hungry for more.

This quiet, small shop has been my go to ramen spot in Tempe since 2020. They have a short menu but every item is delicious, I always order the Tonkatsu ramen but recently tried their new Kakuni Krunch which has the best braised pork. Staff is always very polite and attentive, and the food comes out quickly even in a rush.

Had been looking forward to trying this place for months, but the food was just okay and the service was subpar. The prices also felt a bit high for what you get. It’s an acceptable spot if you’re really craving ramen, but I wouldn’t go back.

If I could I would come here once a week. Their prices are amazing. The food quality is above most Asian restaurants. I love how intimate the setting is. Makes me feel more comfortable and tends to be why I come here the most. I would recommend trying everything on the menu.

Curry is the clear winner, however the Spicy Miso with pickled ginger was also great, Tonkatsu was solid

One of my favorite ramen places in all of Arizona! They take great care with the ramen and it's always delicious. The staff is great and I will keep coming back here!! Try the appetizers too - I've never gotten one I didn't love.

Been coming here for many years now. It’s quite a popular hole in the wall style Japanese restaurant that serves many classic comforts. The food is great but honestly the service is kind of hit or miss sometimes.
I feel like the staff are kind of awkward at times. Both with interaction and when it comes to actually serve the dishes. I think they could use a little work with that. But otherwise everything’s good :)

My husband loved the ultimate spicy ramen. I enjoyed the crab with slow cooked pork on rice.

Not the same. We’ve been coming to Tampopo Remen for years and everything we had is just…noticeably different than it used to be.
This used to be our top ramen place to go and now my daughter doesn’t want to go back.
The service was quick and friendly. The tontatsu ramen was ok, but not amazing like it used to be. My daughter was disappointed in the shio ramen. The chicken karage is now served with mayo instead of the salt seasoning it used to be.
