Long time comer, and was utterly dissapointed. Ordered the mentaiko-don, and got it still frozen. I'm not here to complain about the fact that food is frozen, but when you can't even thaw it properly the night before...

Moreover, the one they served me was clearly nuked in the microwave, which causes some of the roe to get cooked (as pictured some of the roe is white)

There is a proper way to defrost something, and this wasn't it. Really dissapointed in the lack of care for food

My roommate and I have been coming here often over the last 4 years. 4 years ago the tonkatsu ramen had more robust add ins and thicker noodles. Like different mushrooms and the pork slices were thicker the noodles were thicker. Then last year or maybe 2 years ago the pork slices got thinner and they added corn so it was pork, corn, bean sprouts, woodear mushroom and one other mushroom type and a nice thick broth and thinner noodles. NOW the broth is watered down, the noodles are SUPER thin, the corn was replaced with SESAME SEED (why?), the other mushroom was taken out. This ramen is basically naked. There’s not really much going on in it anymore. They’re going downhill and that sucks because we used to love this place. They’re getting cheaper and cheaper with their quality and it’s showing in how the food tastes.

I hate to do this but… it was gross 🤢. I got the vegetarian option and it was milky light pink color. They apparently use warm soy milk. It was sweet and very odd. I spent $25 I’m so upset. And from looking at the lady in the back the other broths are boxed.anyway, It needed salt and I had added soy sauce. Now imagine drinking warm milk with salt and soy sauce in it 😩 and I got the spicy option not knowing it was milk. it’s a no for me. They had no chicken brother option either which is wild because that’s the cheapest, quickest broth to make or get boxed or in powder form. I was feeling u der the weather when u came assuming ramen would make me feel better and my stomach got so upset after. I usually get it from elsewhere but it Sunday and very few places close were open.

Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. Maybe it was good in the past?

We went in today and the portions are small, food was bland and the overall environment felt dirty. I wish we liked it as we love ramen.

I ordered the tonkatsu extra creamy and it was like water. The pork was like rubber and did not feel like a full serving.

Republic ramen is delicious and nornaly my go to but figured I'd try this due to the reviews. Wish we stuck to what we know. Waste of $70.

It’s a good place when you are craving ramen!

I ordered the Miso ramen, the soup didn’t have that deep miso flavor I am used to but the egg & noodles were my favorite part. The Karaage chicken appetizer was good too.

Lots of seating and fast, friendly service. Would recommend ~

I was very disappointed. The only thing that I could recommend is the Takoyaki. The ramen was not good at all. And the chasu was very tough and not flavorful. The eggs were absolutely disgusting. They were cold and also not flavorful. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food is fantastic! I love the spicy Tonkatsu ramen, and the onigiri are exceptional, though like 10% more dipping sauce would be nice. It's very busy, and very small, but the service is top notch.

Kid-friendliness: There isn't a kids menu, and there isn't enough space for kids to move around in, so leave them at home.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is small and crowded so not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair or a walker.

This is a ramen store that I would go to every weekend if I could. The restaurant is small and cozy. It is always busy so make sure you come early if you come with a big group. Their ramen is delicious, my favorite one is Tonkotsu, the soup is so fragrance with the perfect chasu, grill pork belly cook to perfection, I always order extra because that is how good they are. Their noodle is so tender but yet cuper bouncy with each bite. I highly recommend order extra noodle because that thing is so addictive. We also order Takoyaki and Agedashi Tofu for appetizer, which are delicious. The Soymilk base vegetarian ramen, and I quote from my partner “The broth is to die for”. The service is super fast and friendly, I highly recommend this place if your date loves animate and Japanese cuisine.

The best tonkotsu ramen I've had in Arizona. The broth, and even the egg, are very flavorful.
