Cute place and it's very good smoothie
I ordered a matcha milk tea with 50% sweetness and it was still pretty sweet. I didn’t really like it. The boba was soft and chewy. The drink overall was ok. They have a lot of toy vending machines.
I've came here twice and the first time I really enjoyed the mango tea so decided to come back here again today I had my bf go inside to get our drinks and he tried to get me the same drink but with popping boba but she put piping hot tapioca boba in my iced tea. My bf told her that he wanted a flavored popping boba for the drink, cashier had no idea what he was talking about and wasn't happy about changing the drink, it seemed like there was a language barrier. She put the already hot tea into another cup and filled the rest with new tea and gave it back to him. Would it have really been that much of an issue to make a new drink all together? Not really interested in coming back now which is unfortunate 😕
So good.
Finally, today we tried this boba tea shop in Tempe. Although we saw some negative reviews online, but I don’t believe what is online always have to see it in person. We ordered their signature classic boba milk tea and the Ceylon tiramisu cheese from recommended by the worker ! First of all, the store worker introduced the product carefully and asked us about the sweetness and ice selection very thoughtfully! This is a service I don’t get in other shops! The two cups of milk tea on the product both are very good! I really like the Ceylon Tiramisu cheese from This is something special that you can’t find in other stores
Definitely come back to try other products.
Don’t let other people’s comments stop you getting good stuff
I ordered a brown sugar drink, but it was too sweet to handle. I only drank 20% of it and threw the rest in the trash. The cashier was not nice. It was my first time not impressed
I recently visited Tan Cha and had an unfortunate experience that left me quite dissatisfied. Upon arrival, I was eager to immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere, only to find that both the coin and token machines were broken, which resulted in wasting $20 of cash. It was disheartening to see that the worker present was unable to fix the issue, nor did they seem knowledgeable about a possible solution.
The drinks were another letdown. I tried the grape tea, which was palatable, but the signature lime/lemon tea was overwhelmingly sour and undrinkable, to the point where I had to leave it behind. Additionally, I was surprised to find my drinks served warm, without any ice, which is not what I expected.
The overall service compounded these frustrations. The worker was unsmiling, rude, and lacked the necessary knowledge to address or resolve concerns. To top it off, I was looking forward to trying the jasmine tea, but was told, rather abruptly, that it was "out."
Based on this experience, I won't be returning to Tan Cha. I hope they address these issues for the sake of their future customers.

Drove across town to go here and saw that they weren't open when the times listed said they were open. This is so frustrating and unprofessional. Been here before and the menu had some interesting items, boba was a bit hard (end of the day. ) and they were out of a topping listed on the menu. I thought I'd give them another chance, and this is what happened. I won't be going back. Not going to drive out of my way and have it happen again.

This place is great! It's a bit hidden next to Teds Hot Dogs.
I was catching up with some friends, and we spent some hours hanging out here. Nice relaxing setting with blue round chairs and aesthetic.
I had a cream brulee Milk Tea, it was tasty, especially the creamy part of it.

The drink is so sour wth
Not friendly staff and they take forever to make your order even if the place isn’t busy
Recently, I’ve notice that their #1 recommendation, Ceylon Milk Tea with Tiramisu Foam that I used to love a lot, has gone downhill. The drink is quite diluted, so I can no longer taste the strong flavor of tea and creaminess that the drink used to have. I’m quite sad since I used to go here every week, but now I’m not so motivated to go anymore.
I tried a classic Boba milk tea it was so good nice customer service definitely will come back
