This is my favorite restaurant in Tempe. It originated from the Buffalo where I'm from. They fly the Sahlen's hot dogs in from Buffalo daily. They serve Loganberry drinks and shakes. I'm in heaven and having flashbacks of my childhood every time I walk in. The music of all decades is always playing. Just a great time for fellow Buffalonians and neighborhood Tempe patrons alike. Copies of the Buffalo evening Newspaper are available to peruse as well. Can't go wrong with charcoal broiled anything. PS if you're not into hot dogs, they do have burgers, chicken, sausage, etc.

Customer service was great..all beef hotdogs tasted like it was left over from previous day, and the Chilli tasted like it was from a can. I returned the food.

I had the chili cheese dog and onion rings. They were very good. I wish that a combo option was offered instead of paying individually for each item including dipping sauces...

Not the best and not the worst. $35 for a dog, a sausage, burger fries and a coke for two. All basic burger toppings are extra, any hot dog toppings cost extra, I can understand bacon, sauerkraut and stuff like that, but sauce and relish? Basic toppings should usually be a option without an upcharge. Nothing out of the ordinary to consider any of the toppings "premium" for the significant upcharge they apply. For a better time, experience and product do yourself a favor and go to portillos just up the street up McLintock. You'll be happy you did.Vegetarian options: Cost more than the regular meat options. Almost double if you add toppings.
I think I've recommended Ted's to almost everyone I've met. Best bacon cheese fries ever!

Things taste better when cooked over charcoal. Really good food. Service good. Table was dirty. Clean the place. Will be back and do another review.

Great little burger/hotdogs place. Their electronic menu is hard to read as its displayed on older TVs that have a terrible viewing angle. The food and staff are great though, even during COVID they have been very hospitable.Update 2024 switched to 2 stars - they fixed the menu however mine and my wife's burgers were so charred they tasted like charcoal and not Hamburgers anymore. We choked down a few bites and threw away the rest. They ask $9 for a burger then offer such quality is disappointing.
