Dive bar experience at high end pricing. $75 for 2 entrees and 2 Michelob ultra beers. We got the regular fish and chips and the spicy fish and chips at fish pop - overhyped and overpriced. The regular was greasy and lacked flavor. The spicy was just the regular with spicy seasoning which was its only saving grace.
The atmosphere is terrible- over crowded, hot, loud and with a megaphone shouting order numbers over a tinny speaker every few minutes.
Terrible service. Mostly self serve but they still as for tips. We sat at the bar and the bartender never acknowledged our presence. After 15 minutes I had to chase her down just to be able to get drinks.
If I’m going to spend $75 on lunch I am going to go somewhere actually nice , not just overhyped on social media, in the future.

Tempe Eats is an incredible locally owned, family-run concept that absolutely delivers! Tempe Eats staff was top-tier friendly, fast, and genuinely invested in your experience. (PS ask for Destiny she is the most incredible server)
While some of their vendors are independently owned (and the service at Chicken Pop in particular left much to be desired — including a disappointing interaction with their self-proclaimed assistant manager), the Tempe Eats team went above and beyond to make things right. Their professionalism and responsiveness completely turned the situation around.
This place has it all — a killer lineup of food vendors, great drinks, happy hour specials, and a staff that truly cares. Don’t sleep on this spot. Tempe Eats is doing it right, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

So I like the Fishpop stall food and the place is interesting. But they take forever and it's pricey. So I ordered online so I would not have to wait and showed up when they told me to and they would bring it out to me. Well currently 20 past the pick up time sitting in my car in the 110 degree weather and still no food. They need to do better on their times. I would have waited longer to show if it was going to take 30 minutes not 15. Big thumbs down for mobile ordering. I would say just don't show for an extra 20 minutes but then you run the risk of cold fish.

This place has lots of choices and the food has been great. My only complaint is they dont bring napkins and utensils out with the food but I think that it might be a me problem I think they have a self service thing going and im just oblivious to it.
Chicken pop..HORRIBLE.... that was the worst chicken sandwich (3 bites and threw away).. all those ingredients and tasted like butter and salt. Presentation with 1/2 of the thigh hanging out. $17 and it was garbage.....save your money. Friends said the fish (fish pop) was bland and not worth the $20 either. One and done

Want to blow $100 easily? come here! This isn’t nothing out of the ordinary, the chicken almost has no flavor (bland) and apparently bone in their chicken sandwich, not a fan personally . When served my fries there was hair on it . I chose to ignore that because the servers were nice. But when I bit into my chicken sandwich I bit into a hard piece of bone. Presentation was nice, but the sauce is way too sweet on the hot honey sandwich. There are definitely way better options that are more affordable and tasty. (Chikki) .
