Visiting for an event in Phoenix, we walked to the Tempe Tavern and enjoyed a real cold beer and a burger and fries that were to die for. I had the Western Burger and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were also delicious, tasted like homemade. The service was great but it was rather empty (granted it was a Monday night). I'm sure it's a lively atmosphere when it fills in!
Although I did not get the opportunity to enjoy the food or service, I did get the privilege of meeting the owner, Ron who was very happy to pass the word about my culinary services.

The 8 piece honey hot wings were amazing! Didn't even plan on ordering food but rhiannon told me how good they were , the service was amazing and the security "bobby" was professional and made me feel safe, will be coming back because of them!
