I’m a burger snob, and I’m almost always disappointment by places that claim to have a great burger. But there was no disappointment here. I was skeptical because the inside feels a bit like a dive, but I think it gives the spot its particular feel. I ordered the basic burger and you get to dress the burger up yourself. I don’t go heavy with ingredients to not overwhelm the burger and bun taste or ratio. I’m telling you, it was perfection. The bun doesn’t fall apart like most places and was the right amount of soft but firm and fresh. The burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Can’t wait to come back.

Am in agreement with everyone. Burgers are fantastic. Haven’t been there since the mid 70’s when I was attending ASU on the GI bill. The GI bill covered tuition and housing/food off campus and $1 tickets to home football games.

The best place in Tempe for a burger. They cook it fresh in front of you over a wood fire grill and yhr fries and onion rings are cooked fresh for every order. They have all the toppings for the burgers that yiu just load up a burger the way yiu like it. The smell of a real burger never fails.

Burgers were good and decently priced. However, the onion rings, mushrooms, zucchini, we're way over fried.few tables and crowded on a weekend. Small outside bathrooms.
Might be the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. The onion rings are also top tier. You can also get beer in there which makes this place 5x better. Would highly recommend if you are ever in the area and are in the mood for a good burger!

If you love smoke and slow grilled, you will LOVE this place. I am a vegetarian and the smoke adds to the garden burger taste + the help your self dressings bar puts this over the top!
